All. They’re mostly tailored to the jobs you’ve listed as they’re the one more likely to assault someone else.
Do people with a Government Worker/LEO have to follow the Government Forces rules?
Technically no. LEO or Gov Pass holders are either contractors or “out of state” officials. Unless they’re in a government job via F1, Gov Forces Rules do not apply.
See I was told that as soon as you've been given a LEO pass you're bound by the Government Forces rules. It would be great to get HR clarification on that
Another few rules that would be great to have some definition on would be :
11.8 - You require admin permission to become a dictator as President.
What would you guys define as a dictator? Does banning cars with combustion engines make you a dictator? The definition of a dictator is "a political leader who possesses absolute power". Isn't that the default President?
11.6 - The maximum you can fine someone for is $2000.
Does this also include bail and vehicle release fee?
13.1 - When mugging players, you may demand a maximum of $500. You may not mug the same player twice within 15 minutes.
Is asking for 'Protection Money' counted as mugging as it isn't really the same thing.
Is that 15 minute cooldown per person mugging or per group mugging?
Thats an interesting question id also like answered, we never have been clear on what defines a "Dictator" on LL, because by definition every single "President" LL has every had is a dictator
dic·ta·tor
ˈdikˌtādər/
noun
- 1.
a ruler with total power over a country, typically one who has obtained power by force.
The vast majority of all LL presidents are never voted, and hold total authority over the nation, being able to remove people from power at a whim, and change the laws as THEY see fit, not as the nation dictates or demands.
They can also supress all dissent with force should they will it and can force their entire police force to change uniforms and titles.
So what makes a dictator on LL?
Not only this, what makes a Dictator raidable? Just being a dictator? Not all dictatorships are bad:
Benevolent dictatorship: A form of government in which an authoritarian leader exercises absolute political power over the state but does so for the benefit of the population as a whole.
Is this raidable even though it has the best of intentions?
What about Oligarchys?
What about an Imperial method of government?
What if they are
Fanatical Egalitarians?
What defines and enables a raid reason on any type of government?

Reading again I think this situation is covered by the following but HR input would be good.
- 3.8 - Custom groups may work with the government, but do not necessarily have to follow government restrictions and rules. A member of staff can force a custom group to follow government restrictions and rules if they feel it necessary.

We currently have:
3.8 - Custom groups may work with the government, but do not necessarily have to follow government restrictions and rules. A member of staff can force a custom group to follow government restrictions and rules if they feel it necessary. Therefore, no, a group with LEO passes that is not in the "character" job of the government is still a custom group and doesn't have to follow those rules unless specifically told to by a member of moderation staff. However this is a pretty old rule and we've seen a lot more room added for people to be part of law enforcement while not being in the gov job (civ vehicle lights, LEO passes, etc.) so this might change.
And yes the Gov Forces rules apply to all of the government jobs not just police swat and SS. Though a lot of them are obviously made for specific jobs in mid, e.g I don't expect paramedics and desk secretaries making roadblocks. Common sense and stuff,
- It's hard to define exactly what is considered a dictator law, but come up with a law, and if it's not a law in any first world countries and severely disadvantages the citizens it miiiight be a dictator law. Banning 1-2 vehicles from use for a specific reason or incident(s) that happened while you are president is not necessarily dictatorial, but outright banning all or most cars from use is. If there are staff online and you are unsure, you can ask. I don't imagine you will be punished for making a just-barely-dictatorial law without being asked to change first, without doing something like "lol all cars banned everyone must address me as Your Magnificence and bow when they see me and insulting government officials results in an execution".
- The $2000 amount applies to impounds but not bail. My thought process is that you must pay to get your car back legally but you can just wait out your sentence if you don't want to pay bail.
- It is 15 minutes per group. Don't want a gang of 10 people going up to the same guy 10 times in a row demanding a sum each, it would be really stupid. If you ask for protection money by standing there and pointing a gun in their face, that's mugging. If it's more subtle and the consequences aren't getting immediately shot in the face (so basically you RP it out) and all that jazz then no, asking for protection money is not the same as mugging.
