Why do you guys keeping cramming more stuff into an already laggy gamemode instead of optimizing what's already there?

If I remember correctly, there are devs working on optimization while the rest work on updates. These updates keep us interested in LL as fixing the GM will take months of work.

If you're talking about when you kept on shooting me in that raid I was just using Kevlar and health kits. If anything they should nerf how many health kits can be used

A number of high-priority suggestions are being pushed through the staff review process at a more rapid rate than normal. Removing ceramic is one.
Do you think the community will feel a true improvement in FPS ingame anytime in the near future?
I feel like you're giving people too much chances,if someone is banned after their last chance is given they should stay banned,after all it's called last chance for a reason.

It's possible. We're looking at improving our current systems, along with removing or replacing other systems which are a detriment to performance.

That's not a question :£. However, from what I can see, people have the ability to change. Combined with the fact that some bans are invalid, it only makes sense to give people the chance to appeal.

A friendly rivalry is always good. We have good relationships with current CityRP servers, so I don't see why new servers would be any different.

At the moment, he's not. He's the 2nd most active developer, which combined with his other SA duties, which is very impressive.

If he wanted to resign, I wouldn't let him.

Yeah, there's definitely no problem at all with there being other CityRP servers. Competition means that development can't be lazy, and a friendly rivalry tends to encourage decent updates. The only real 'threats' that can ever come from competing servers isn't from the servers themselves or their staff teams, but occasionally from a tiny minority of players who go around joining competitor's servers to cause havoc or try to DDoS. Thankfully it seems to be pretty rare, compared to how many people actively play on RP servers.
This may be a bit of a silly question, but as we're on the topic of competition, I might as well ask it as it's been floating in my mind for a while.

How come the other CityRP server (i.e Fearless) is able to maintain smooth FPS on high player numbers + 2 cars per player, but ours starts to lag over like 40? I'm not at all familiar with how these Gmod servers work, but is this due to the fact that they may have more expensive servers hosting orrrr they've done some optimizations or something along those lines?

And on top of that, are there any upcoming plans for smoothing out the FPS on these LL servers for higher player numbers?
