Didn't realized this was answered, sorry.
It's the same reason we see an inactivity in staff IG. It's mostly real life taking over their time. That and some require internal investigations we don't see.
Now of course we can say "jut get rid of them", but now that I've seen both sides, they have a point to be hesitant about removing key staff members. Although they're inactive, who's gonna replace them? To be frank, LL is not the most peaceful place to play. Lots of people (including myself) can be toxic, mingey, and other negative behaviors that staff don't want to see.

Also keeping in mind I'm pretty much the only one that looks at them now.

How is it there are seemingly no consequences for FUMUKU using their models after the, quote "Clan models are pending removal, until then, usage of them is prohibited - alongside all other old, and revoked clan models. Failure to abide by this measure will have consequences".
I find it quite curious that it takes so much longer when it's a different clan, what's being done to counter such seemingly biased actions in the clan area and the community as a whole? This has been an issue plaguing the clan sector for quite some time.
Daley says the main duty of a clan officer is to "ensure that all clans are treated the same way, and non of them gain perks or advantages because of bias, or abuse of power."' When will this be the case?
When will all clans be treated fairly?
This is a question I'd prefer be answered by either "" or ""
I'll build my reply on other replies that has been made before mine.
I received word of FUMUKU using their models after the ban. After logs were checked, this didn't seem to be the case. I did however ask Blackdog to make sure that his clan-members were informed of the model-ban.
I spent several hours in a discussion yesterday with Daley, Internet, Faustie and Overlewd about clan-skins, clans, and the clan-skins in question that FUMUKU has.
The reason why this has taken so long is because we're reviewing everything properly, referencing older forum-posts and etc. There are a lot of details to review and opinions to be discussed. We want to make sure that everything is covered in this discussion, which is why we've done so in very great detail. If we are to make a educated decision then we need to make sure that everyone is educated on the matter, and that everyone is aware of all the details (of which I will not mention here).
The final decision will be revealed soon enough. We've voted on several different topics, and we're in the progress of going over the finer details. Without revealing too much, we're trying to fix the issue with clans, and making sure that every clan is treated equally; even this this might not have been done so previously.
There's a lot to cover, and we're working on untying up the big knot.
We're attempting to make sure that all clans are treated equally. This is why it's taken as much time as it has, and it will take as long time as necessary to ensure that it's done right and without bias.

I fail to have clairvoyance in the idea there's a discussion at all in regards to this, considering Lionscrest models were removed in the blink of an eye and without question, yet when it comes to FUMUKU, there has to be as you say "Hours of discussion" on the topic.
Taking into consideration the models are widely considered to be very low quality and are it is fact they are well over the limit. With the seemingly valid reasoning brought forward by Daley, what is there to discuss exactly? Can you extent on this at all?
I simply find it strange how there's 2 individuals directly involved in FUMUKU, be it current or past.., and with content of Limelight, then this sort of thing happens. Faustie I can understand being in the decision, as SA. Doctor Internet is not a SA nor Clan Officer so I do not see how his opinion on the matter is valid.
Perhaps you ought to talk less on your claim that you ensure that it is done right and without bias, and do more action to make it happen.
Thank you for your response.

You lack insight in this case, as well as information. This is not your fault, but I need to remind you that you're on the sideline of this, and you don't know what has been done and hasn't been done, what has been said and what hasn't been said, nor are you in a position to tell me to talk less and "do more action". With all due respect, you can either accept my post regarding this topic or you can disregard it. You cannot however tell me what I "ought" to do and not.
I can understand your concern about there being two individuals with history in FUMUKU in the discussion, but I am confident that they are unbiased in discussions like the ones we've had. I can also point out that three of the people in this discussion has no ties with FUMUKU, so there's not a FUMUKU majority in the discussion regarding the FUMUKU skin. If I can trust the people in the discussion, then so "ought" you. Respectfully, I trust them and if you do or not is irrelevant to the discussion at hand as you do not know the details of the discussion.
As for the rest of the topic, I've given as much information as I'll give until it's announced publicly.
If I'm known for anything, it is that I can be a strict asshole in topics like this. I can assure you that we're doing everything we can for it to be evaluated properly and without bias.

why do you keep putting "ought" in quotation marks what technique is that and how does it impact the rest of your paragraph.
You ought to make sentences which doesn't make sense sometime to hopefully get the message through. I merely thought that ought to do the trick.

Yea I guess that makes sense. Early bird gets the worm and all
Can we get clarification on using lethal force when being fired upon. As far as I was aware it's perfectly fine to return fire if you're being shot at.

I'm fairly certain that's common sense, surely if you're being shot at and you have the means to defend yourself failing to do so would be an infringement of FearRP? Unless you dashed of course.

I thought so too but on a recent PR:
Overlewd Wrote:Attempting to use nonlethal means first and then switching to lethal right away because you were being shot at is not an excuse in the given situtation

Relative escalation is required. You can't pull an AWM for a guy punching your door.
However, I'd normally allow returning fire when being shot. However, due to the circumstances, I'm gonna call
to clarify.
Why not ^ people so crazy stuff like that all the time. They shoot at each other for stupid stuff constantly in areas in America.
Why not just deal with it IC, if you use a dumb amount of force you’re arrested.
From my experience, you can use relative lethal force to defend yourself, but if you put yourself into the situation that gives the other party a reason to kill you, it can be considered baiting. Then again it's all circumstantial. If you are breaking into a bank, it seems appropriate to fire on police if they don't meet your demands. In other cases if you have an objective to escape from someone, but stay to fight when they are no longer a threat, that is seen as over use of force.

With that logic we might as well remove most player encounter based rules. There is a difference from real life and the game mode. The GM is meant to be set a certain way. This is done by keeping players in check with rules so people have to at the least act like it's real life instead of a video game. Something that the GM is trying to replicate. Without rules about RDM, Fearp, etc. it would turn into an all out war between people 24/7. Although Aggro RP is almost everywhere in the server already, it's nice to see SOME of those RP's are actual roleplays with backgrounds and the Passive RP's with their shops, offices, and other misc. services.
