Rockford v2 was a slight upgrade in how modern looking it was and had custom stuff compared to evocity in its Half Life textures looking state.
I haven't had the chance to try this map since Workshop downloads are scuffed for me but, this map seems interesting.

The snow-map is truly beautiful..
The normal version looks good so far, but I did not test it in singleplayer yet. I hope it does not have any dead-ends.
Edit: The snow map would fit into the current time I guess.
It has a nice city area, BUT it just has to many damn trees, all the prime build zones people adored 33x for, are gone, and some areas just have to much unremovable junk in them.
Im serious, there are beyond to many trees on that map, and this is comming from the guy who used to FILL the map with tree's, but at least my tree's could be removed to enable RP builds to occur within those areas.
Why would there be trees INSIDE the lot? They are just in the way
More randomy placed tree's that actualy block access routes.
And the biggest betrayal of all with this map, it turns the grassy field, the most in demand build zone, the zone that has created so many amazing RP builds, into an absolutely shitty, garbage filled camp ground, with unremovable trees, and trash textured right onto the ground.
It has a nicer city than the usual 33x and V2D versions, but the rest of the map is just awfull.
Edit: It also just has bad design choices in areas, like this within the town hall:
It is literaly just a hallway to nowhere.
Badly designed building exteriors as well, why would this building be constructed at a slant like this?
This is a map made by someone who thinks they know what canada looks like, but has absolutely no idea what things actualy look like here.
