Hand me the keyboard! It’s my turn to suggest a map!

I wasn't too sure at first, but downloaded the map tonight and took a look. One of the best maps I have ever seen, loads of roleplay opportunities. Light switches in houses?! A bank that actually has vault?!
Also found aa 7/11 with a freezer in the back that when you switch on lowers the health of anyone inside, loads of things like this that would be massive roleplay opportunities.
Completely understand the dupe thing though, but those large surface props could be used as a makeshift floor to place just above the sea. lot's of creative people in the community so I'm sure a few ideas could be thought up to make up for the lack of open space.

I understand that there's not too big of an area to build large dupes, however, most of those dupes can now be contained within the prebuilt buildings. If not, I'd love to see them converted into floating river fortresses, would make them really unique then.

To be honest, the only reasons I used to like EvoCity are because of Grassy Field and the correctional facility system back on v33x. Other than that, it's just one big (but not that big really) loop of a map.
Other than that, Rockford is definitely my favorite out of all of them but this one surely looks promising. I wonder if this will kill the population again though. That would probably be the only danger to switching maps.

Don't see the issue of people building in pre-existing buildings. Along as the map covers a wide area of buildings to use. Seems like it's got that covered. While building is great the majoroty of dupes feel out of place or are lacking because of prop limitations. You don't need dupes to roleplay.

One concern, basing on the barge. It's impossible to tell from the shore whether there's anyone on it or any propers there, even with the binoculars. It is gonna be quite doomforty either way, as there's no safe or covered approach in water. I've noticed this for a couple of buildings but the barge especially.

We obviously need something refreshing, we've been using EvoCity for far too long. I think it's time to experience something new. Especially in this current time. In this map, there are a lot of roleplay opportunities. So I don't get why wouldn't we change to this one. In fact, a lot of new people will join the server, just because it's unique and has it's own new map.

Southside is already pretty even in subscribers compared to truenorth which is a great sign for the popularity of the map. If we keep seeing the popularity rise, that will hopefully cut down the loss of new players like we had for truenorth. Although, I would still give it some more time.

When in doubt trial the map. However that would involve setting up everything so it will take staff time.

And folks, if we do trial the map, make an effort to get some dupes and other similar aspects down instead of being too scared to make anything substantial like during the last set if trials,

I saw a map suggestion and instinctively rolled my eyes after the massive I TOLD YOU SO that was truenorth.
But I tried it out and hey it actually looks pretty good. For once actually maybe even a little too small rather than the usual way too big.
The few concerns I do have:
Bit tonally depressing but can live with that.
The big multi floor office building is the worst part of the map for me, I can see all kind of shenanigans happening there in terms of good luck finding someone.
Big tunnel leading a long way to 1 warehouse is a bit stupid and the vent noises in the police station are loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooud. Speaking of vents, lots of moving parts and intractable buttons on map, hope they don't break too easy/often.
+support to see how it goes, looks cool
