It's gonna have to be a massive +Support from me, Now I haven't played in a long time due to well boredom, Evocity has been LL's main map for how many years now?

This map would for me be a massive turning point in LL's history and personally this map would get me to return to LL after being away for a while now, the map look's great, has a lot of great feature's, Is detailed and bring's a whole new and exciting environment for us to play in.
Responding to those that say it lacks the empty space for custom buildings ,

Those buildings are some of the biggest factors that cause massive lag to players. It is a different type of RP map , it has such incredible detail, massive building renovations is not as necessary and it's something to get used to. Keep in mind their are still empty warehouses and shops.

To whoever said there isn't a park there is a Central Park in the screenshots.

Also I feel with such a large waterfront we could easily set up a flat grassy area or similar if it was really that big of an issue.
Are we really going to shoot ourselves in the foot? all previous map changes have caused more issues than not, including the one we are currently in. Unless we introduce a map rotation, I am not supporting any map change.

Shooting our self in the foot is keeping an outdated map with horrible performance, and being afraid of change on something that is frankly dying.

United States Coast Guard?

Maybe do a trial period with the map to see how people like it?

You know, you'd think that would be a splendid idea. Then you think back to truenorth. :3
I also wanna say that the server has been popping recently and Evo City feels cramped.
I do think a bigger more detailed map is way better.
And also I get that this map has flaws obviously but let's be honest no one likes Evo we just play on it because we have to...
And don't say you like it cause everyone knows you're lying if you do.

And tbh Limelight is a great server the only thing to make it better is this map.
Look at all the positive responses for once almost all of the community is in agreement with one thing, WE NEED A NEW MAP!

very true, im in agreement with this
Absolutely fuck all building space, fuck that.

I don't care if you have the most detailed map in the universe, we still need to fucking build.

I come from a seriousRP background - I spent fucking years on HL2RP and other servers with a lot more rigid rules and RP, and where you don't actually have a physgun or a toolgun and let me tell you what keeps me and others like me here in LimeLight - it's the creative freedom we have to create our own RPs, design our own builds, do whatever RP really so long as it's within the rules.

If not building is something "to get used to", then I won't, I'll just go somewhere that lets me build and RP with creative freedom lmao.

Don't get me wrong though, it's a beautiful map, it embodies cityRP greatly, but the lack of build space is gonna be a problem, unless you want me building my 200000000 prop WY HQ in the fucking police station carpark. I might be willing to try with the space that's available (water, car parks, etc) but it might not be pretty. Having had this massive rant, I'm actually not sure where I stand atm.

What Guv said ^^

And this building is literally perfect for WY just put a big WY logo on it done.

If we could get in agreement with the maps creator i supposed some of the water to the bottom left of the map (near the warehouse) could probably turned into woods or a small island - but that would still leave us with an incredbily dense city with little wiggleroom.
The city is quite awsome indeed but my worry is that is a bit restrictive in terms of dupes etc. (and the other things i wrote above)

I dont know how realistic the modification of this map would be.

Modifications could be done realistically. However I'd be unsure of how much wiggle room we'd have as I think the map reaches source limits. That said. I would want to remove the tunnel system. I wouldn't include an island, I would be more inclined to expanding the landmass around the highway. It's certainly an awesome map, and it could be better implemented on a map rotation without map modifications. In my honest opinion it could offer far more realistic RP, at the cost of dupes. Police become far more viable on this map. And EMS RP could be improved just with the map alone. I don't think it should be permantly added, unless of course it was modified to cater to the issues rightfully raised by you. Dupes are a big part of LL. That said. Stunning map, however its implementation would need to be handled in a good way. Not a straight up map change.

Did you even read what I said? Buildings are one of the biggest factors that keep people like me coming. I for example, if I can't build and I'm stuck on a default map with the same fucking stagnant pre-decorated shops and buildings, I'm gonna fuckin go out of boredom lmao
