I did say earlier I didn't understand what he was talking about
To be honest, teachers are experienced players who requests to become a teacher so therefore they volunteer to help out, sure they help more than the average limelight member I get it but it doesn't change that a normal member or a donor can decide to help out the community without even asking to become a teacher so therefore they're helping without having a "special rank" and they still volunteer. I never understood the point of having teachers as a rank in the first place, they can help just as any normal member or donor without having that rank. People who wants a rank to be different from people usually wants to feel special from other people and even more power if the person wishes to have more power. I remember when teachers had powers like giving reps, some teachers decided to abuse that power.
They do nothing that another donator or player cannot do.

Subject A has 1000 hours on the server and answers all questions which are put in OOC but didnt apply for teacher - isnt on team page.

Subject B has 1000 hours on the server and answers all questions which are put in OOC but did apply for teacher - is on team page.

Teachers do nothing that a normal player is unable to do other than see /h in my opinion they do not do enough to warrant being on the team page.
Rickets, it actually would be nice to know who is on the Teacher team. Just to know it. As i did not knew that certain people are Teachers beacuse they arent listed anywhere (except in the Teacher section, but i would have to go through all that) so what makes Veterans so special (Yes i know you were Administrators once & put effort into the community) But look at the Teachers. They are doing it aswell. (Example: Project made a map for an upcomming event. Mapping takes time) I have seen them often putting effort into the community aswell & i do think they deserve a place there aswell.

What about the teachers, who spend a massive amount of time taking calls that admins don't bother taking? The number of help calls that get redirected to us?

Please. You're not a member of the team. Teacher's are members of the teacher team. Why are you ranking yourself higher them, or are you becoming the person you say they are?

You say that think they are better than everyone else, but that's what you're doing here, saying you're better than teachers.

You say that think they are trying to get every little of power they can, yet you're trying to keep a place on the team page, whilst not being a member of the team.

I mean you no disrespect, of course, but why do you think you have more of a right to be on the team page, than people who work now? It's confusing me.

And again. If, in your opinion, ranks do not matter, would you be happy to have your place on the team page removed?

They can see /help.
They have moderator powers on the H&S forum.
They take calls from moderators/administrators.

If spending a lot of time on a call is an issue do not volunteer to do so.

I have said it once and I will say it again because you must be unable to read it. VETERANS ARE CREDITED for the time and work which they put in on the team page.

Please quote where I said I was better.

If there was to be a credit page or a hall of fame sorta deal then I would happily be moved there to bask in my own glory.

Personally, I don't have issues with it. It would however, be nice to be credited for doing so.

Fair enough. But why is the time and work of teachers not credited?

It was the general tone of your post, how veterans deserve the spot on the page because of what they did, whereas teachers, who do work now, don't get credited for it.

If there was to be a credit page or a hall of fame sorta deal then I would happily be moved there to bask in my own glory.
Fair enough. Would you then be happy to allow teachers a place on the team page?

I also saw your post earlier, about how the teachers don't have enough power to be on the team page. Do you then support giving them more power?
They represent the community and should be on there.

I do think the page should be formatted or re-created to adapt into maybe a tab function, as there's just so many names on it already and it hurts my eyes to look at.
Teachers should never receive any power This was tried in the past and went horribly wrong. You should never be able to apply to gain power in any way shape or form.

My final post on the matter:

This is more than likely to go through and by all means I am not trying to discourage you nor am I trying to belittle you I am just voicing my opinion in this thread if you would like to discuss why I think like this feel free to contact me VIA Steam or TS. My opinion stems from certain current teachers and some of those from the past.

When this gets pushed through I just hope the current and new teachers can prove grumpy old rickets wrong.

Peace.

I would like something similar to what happened to the rules page.
For spamming a bind in chat the second an admin joins/types in OOC? No.
Some teachers already think they are DOGG

Quite the ferocity when we're arguing to have names put on a list. Give them some recognition for going through the application and putting themselves on the spot in the first place.
Yes, because they are apart of the "Team" not staff.

If contributors are listed then so should teachers. Simple
