It will fit because;
1. As said, they are a team who works with the community. They are respresenting LL right? As it says in "What is a teacher" thread.
btw, it would be wrong if it said "Staff Team" but as i can see then it says "Team" so i feel they deserve to have a position on that page.

Personally I don't see what the big deal is. If you give a badge and their names on the Team page, that isn't a guarantee that they're going to go "mad with power", or anything of the sort. Its just an easier way for people to identity. The badge is already designed within the teacher usergroup, and if needed, we have plenty of Graphic Designers here who can change it for the staff team.
Are teachers apart of the Administrative and Management Team? No.
Are teachers apart of the Limelight Team? In my eyes, yes.
Even if someone does decide to be an utter asshat to players because they're a teacher (which, by the by, would be one of the saddest and pettiest excuses for a status than I could ever imagine), then as I said, Teachers don't have access to sensitive and confidential information such as Contributors and Admin. Staff do, just demote the dude and move on. Don't punish the mass for the actions of one potential person.
Just my two cents.

I'm gonna say no.
I never understood the Teacher position being a thing to be honest. You don't need a special title and insignia to help others or show your knowledge of RP and rules. When I was a Teacher, I was kinda confused when i got the position. It was kinda like: "I get to see the /help chat? That's the only difference aside from a private forum? Huh, might as well just do what I always did."
I get that it won't corrupt everyone with "power" if they get Teacher, but why do they need a title? What about the players that aren't Teachers but can do better than them? Probably looked down upon because people see Teachers as automatically better because they have a special insignia. Not to mention the rumor that it's the "doorway to mod".
Trust me when I say it, we have a good Teacher group, but I don't honestly believe we need a title for them. They're just good people helping that happened to put in an application.

It's about making them feel valued for the work they do, by giving them a simple forum tag and showing them on the staff list to show clearly who is and isn't a teacher in this community just like in-game.
I'm not a big fan of the teacher programme myself, but like an admin or a mod they provide a service to the server, if you stop thinking about it like a chain of command they are staff just with a different role.

Absolutely not.
Last I checked, when the Teacher role was even created it was not meant to be a staff position. Putting them on the Team page implies this to new players. I understand that they have put in work, as well as it's not entirely simple to do, but to be blunt, being an administrator or developer is a hell of a lot harder than being a teacher.
Not that teachers shouldn't receive credit, but they already do. This is unnecessary, and in my opinion going completely against the values of what they were created for in the first place.
And as for the role itself, it's voluntary, as well as something technically any member of the community could do. They help new players, or at least are supposed to. Only point in the rank was originally for that. Nothing else. If you put this on the team page then it may give those who have this rank some higher authority feeling that they certainly should not get.
There's literally nothing special about it, or at least there shouldn't be. Any member of the community can be a teacher, only thing the rank does is recognize the individual and give them responsibility to teach players. That does not make them a staff member, and they are not above the new players, or their fellow regular members.
Teachers are not staff, nor were they staff at one point in time.

Neither are Veterans.
Plus administration isn't hard either, once you learn, same with teaching, all depends on the individual dedication and approach.

I'd like you to come back and rephrase your statement once you've administrated here.
More importantly, from my experience even with the Teachers added I've still had to do the same Teacher work even with them here, so I know exactly what the Teachers have had to do and what they currently do. I was there when the rank was created, and what responsibilities they'd have, and how those changed over time, and how they've been reverted back for specific reasons that I would rather not like to leak out.
I find it amusing that people still compare the Veteran rank to the Teacher rank. The thing is, Veterans, those who have earned it, have done a LOT more than Teachers have. Whether you see that or not is up to you, but every time a staff member steps down it is decided if they have earned it or not. Not all staff members receive a veteran rank.
You can't apply for it.

In all honesty, I do agree that they should have it. They've earned it long before Teachers do if anything. It would be entirely wrong to give Teachers spots in the team page and not contributors. Development work is something that I highly respect in this community (not saying that being a teacher isn't respected) and is something that is rather unappreciated unfortunately.
There's a large gap between Teacher work and Contributor work.

Maybe, maybe not. But you haven't administrated here. That's enough of an answer when you say being a Teacher is close to being an Administrator. For all you know being an admin here can be the complete opposite of what the word means, you don't know so it's not just for you to assume.

To be honest you cant compare teachers to contributor , contributors create stuff for server witch in my eyes its more value but for me teacher still deserve respect and theres nothing wrong to make them show in staff page , they have important role , its about time to give to them some respect , dont tell me they dont deserve because they do , almost all staff have been teacher for once , they help in their ways , teachers need to be recognize for once , i do have huge respect for them , i remember when i was one , i did assign for help people because i loved to do , even today i do but aint easy sometimes , so people give some respect for them
