This thread is what is making me reluctant, and making sure my -Support stays a -Support, a teacher who was picked from others not sharing knowledge so he can gain Monetary gain, going as far as closing the thread so people can not post how to do it. This is why - Support along other reasons is going to stay - Support firmly.

That's actually just changed my interpretation towards the Teacher Team altogether, as well as the support LimeLight can give... Wow.
ACTIONS TAKEN
Even though Teachers need to be recognised that they are teachers, and a easy way would be to put them on the Forum Team page, however, you could;
- Place them in the Help & Support threads
- Put a new hotbar section saying 'Information', and a dropdown with all of the ranks.
- Put a sticky thread in the News and Announcements and contain all of the links.
- Ask in the Help & Support
- Ask in chat

Well played bud.
Like I said originally people, actions should speak louder than words with cases like these. Not all teachers are bad but there's some things that should be considered.
What's popular is not always what's right.
I would like to add that deleting the post and reopening the thread doesn't change anything.
Seriously come on don't be Hillary Clinton, that certainly doesn't help your case.
More importantly it only dissolves your arguments.
ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS.

I was literally about to say that.
Putting teachers on the team page is more than just 'recognising' them. It is placing them as a representation of Limelight, in past I have seen teachers break rules and do other shady things. Seems to me the majority of the teachers apply just to get recognised as being above players. Do not become teacher just to be recognised.
Admins and Moderators have been vetted immensely, while teachers are...ehh.
Sure they're part of a team, but they're not part of the team. Next you'll want veteran teachers.
Even though they are not officially a part of the staff team. I do believe they should be added purely because they are an asset to the community and deserve to be recognised for the work they put in.

Paul, I get that thread's disgusting and the opposite of what teachers should be doing, and I personally have already spoken to Admiral about it. However having looked through the thread, I see no point where Admiral gets monetary gain. I could No True Scotsman my post, and say how that's not how real teachers act, however, in general,
for most threads you'll find that the teachers are helpful, rather than obtuse.
And if we judge an entire group on one person, I can judge every group on Limelight, and give you a reason for every group to not to exist, but then I'd be engaging in confirmation bias, a logical fallacy, and I'd ask you not to engage in confirmation bias either.

You know why you can't see it? Because about a page worth of posts were removed to cover this situation up. Midget + Admiral I believe learnt together how to do this, with Midget saying the reason it should stay a secret is for monetary gain with Admiral "laughing" in a post. The simple fact is Internet two teachers tried covering it up, deleting posts and this is exactly what teachers shouldn't be doing rather than owning up to their mistake they try cover it up as well as the fact Coupcake has been left in the dark from a Teacher trying to find the method.
This is EXACTLY why teachers should not be listed on the team page.

Laughing is not the same as receiving monetary gain, and I can see the deleted posts in that forum. One teacher tried covering their ass, and another made an honest mistake upon seeing a closed thread. The thread was re-opened after an hour.
Again, your confirmation bias is showing. You've picked the data that supports your argument, rather than seeing the big picture. 99% of questions to which we know answers to get answered. We act as Limelight's Support Staff. One Teacher did something wrong, and got roasted for it by the rest of us. I don't want to NTS, but again, Project made a mistake, which he then rectified when he noticed it.
So, again. Please don't judge us by one thread. Don't judge us on the past team. Don't judge us on one person. Actions speak louder than words, and I believe the actions of the teachers in the Help and Support section in the past months speak for themselves.

'Bias' pfft. We may as well all say 'FUMUKUBias' Right?
The fact is even yourself is saying 'and I personally have already spoken to Admiral about it.' leave it to the Teacher liason to sort out, and yes I've looked at the threads you have linked me but the problem is out of ALL of them only three-four were resolved successfully, with the player reporting back it is working. So before you pull your 'bias' card again actually look at the threads you link me.

Take the piss all you want. You're picking the single argument that suits your narrative. You say that teachers are bad people, who shouldn't deserve any recognition. Now, if you'd like to stop and ad hominem attacks, and respond to the points I'm making, that would be grand.
In those threads that I linked, are teachers, or are teachers not, helping members of the community. I never said that they were resolved, but I did say that teachers are helping members of the community. If you'd respond to that, and not Strawman my argument, that would be grand.
Are teachers, in those threads, helping (or attempting to help) the community? In your response, perhaps try responding to me, instead of trying to bypass every point I make?
This whole Teacher Rank is pointless to be honest, Teachers are just players that get more recognition than others for help users, I personally feel that rank should be scrapped as a whole. You may ask why would you think the rank should get scrapped and I think that the recognition they have doesn't allow other users t get noticed as much for their hard work when assisting players.
The Teacher Rank should just go and players should be able to assist players if they wish to assist them, they should have to have a dedicated rank to assist someone and help them, any one can do what a teacher does but players without the rank don't have access to certain commands.

I'm not picking single arguments that support my case, it's clear that you have a set opinion on this matter with no chance of seeing what I'm trying to show you, after that Admiral thread is where my - Support stayed - Support.
Yes teachers are attempting to help but only a hand full actually gets resolved successfully, but as you can see in them threads as well normal players of the community are also trying to help, so if they are also trying to help should we also award them the Teacher rank also?
