Alright guys recently i have become a lot less active in the community for a few reasons that i think are easy fixes. So lets get into this!

Issue number one is that off-topic is no longer a fun place. It use to be a safe heaven for memers and wacko's now my people are banned from there. I would like to call an end to this meme prohibition. Prohibition never works as we saw in the 1920's in America, and as we are currently seeing with the decriminalization of Mary Jane. Funny posts used to rain down from the heavens onto off-topic every single day. Now what? It's the same 3 fucking threads. Nothing fun or wacky.

Second of all i would like to bring up lack of quality memes. Some of the newer generation self titled "Memers" are doing nothing but re-posting popular memes they saw on Reddit and YouTube. This should not be allowed. I would like to take this time to promote creativity and the importance of Original content ([OC])

And lastly i believe the major problem with our community to be YOU.

Thank you for your time fellers.

I know you're mostly memeing, but you raise a good point RE off topic. It always kept me coming back to the forums..I don't even look at it now.

Rule Britannia and that.

We'll release a more proper detailed report once we've discussed properly with staff and SAs, but I'll address a few points now and raise an idea or two that could use feedback.

Gamemode - Our primary concern right now is optimization and more modular updates. This requires significant planning, but the end result should be worth it. We've added a lot of content, but most of it is neither modular nor is it great for extended RP. We're looking to add updates that can be easily expanded on in the future, or perhaps link to other systems or servers.

Communication - Both within the staff team and between staff and community. I've certainly been lacking on my communication to the community recently, though my role does mean that it isn't as necessary as, for example, HR or player/clan liaisons. However, we've still identified some key problems internally and I look forward to seeing the feedback from the admin review thread, so we'll do our best to learn lessons from that.

Transparency - We still have quite a lot to achieve here. We're sorting through some rather large financial logs and data on this will be released (hopefully) in the near future. Internally, we're going to be doing more reports and keep better track of what's happening - not just financially - so that it's easier for us to pass on the information to the community.

Higher priority on mod team - We have so many admins that decision-making can sometimes get a little difficult. It's really time to expand the mod team and make it a real team on its own; it shouldn't be seen as a stepping point to admin, but rather as a full-time team in its own right.

An idea of mine: Regarding gamemode feedback, what would people's thoughts be on a skill-based system of sorts? It's fairly modular as it allows for expansion in future, but would need significantly more planning than we've currently done and a lot of community feedback to keep the game fun for new players. We don't want to become a grind-fest like Runescape.

Not in regards to combat or anything as that has it's own skill involved, but for future updates. Let's say, hypothetically, we focus more on crafting or manufacturing many items in game; resource gathering and manufacturing could have a skill modifier involved that required you to reach certain milestones in order to manufacture certain items.

This is what is needed in LimeLight, a system which just doesn't allow you to unlock everything purely from money as you can just grind from woodcutting.

So, if I get you right, youd have a talent tree of sorts for examples if you want to make mechanical stuff your character has to have a certain level of mechanical skills?

My honest opinion that should be everyone else's, fix all the rediculous shit like the license plate not working on the hummer and the rv stopping on a porch mat and the ambulance driving like a stick of butter BEFORE you add new cars or other brand new updates
