I'm not a weeb or chinless but,

depends what type of event it is.

Back when we didn't want events to change live, this was to offer people an option. Not everyone suddenly wants to be forced into a vault event on live, the live can continue to go on, please can have a choice.

Choices are important and forcing people into stuff no good.

The first question would be, what's the difference between joining the main server for an event and live first?

Then, it should matter more in a way, as we need to consider what players want and give options that would please them.

Not everyone would want a Fallout event on live, and while we could change the live map to the fallout map, what's makes joining event more difficult?

We can remove the password when it comes to events if that is a reason that makes joining the event server difficult.


So basically, what would be the difference?
