How is it that every other BLM protest in London so far has been peaceful then? Stop spreading fear when all these people are trying to spread is love and equality.

Out of curiosity, what did the last administration(s) do to try and fix the issue African Americans are facing right now?

the law would strongly disagree with you.

Unless you live in a third world country, but considering people are targetting the (very equal) United States instead of the countries where racism is everywhere, yeah the law isnt on your side this time

I wonder how we could do that, perhaps by firing the officers involved and charging the one responsible for a mans death with murder and manslaughter? but thats just a theory, a game theory.

Statistics would strongly disagree with you.

But I'm not arguing here anymore because I can't change any of your opinions; yes I strong disagree with you. However I cannot change this fact and therefore I am not responding anymore.

Whites are more likely to be shot by police
FBI arrest statistics by race
Population Figures

238,381,680 white americans
41,486,314 black americans

Total white or african american violent crimes: 394,404 (some margin of error here that carries through)

White % of white/black violent crime: 61.12% (213,555)
0.214% of police shootings == 0.35% adjusted for percentage of violent crime committed

Black % of white/black violent crime: 43.89% (153,353)
0.0015% of police shootings, 0.00342% adjusted for percentage of violent crime committed

The discrimination against whites is insaaaane

edit: Blacks committing disproportionaly higher violent crime is not a genetic/race issue, but a socio-economic one derived from the days of slavery. There are plenty of initiatives these days to help these groups, so things are improving for lower income areas

Well, this isn't showing the full picture at all, this is for violent crimes not for crimes without violence. This is a perfect example of when people abuse statistics...

I'm not going to look around for the statistics for non-violent crimes or just crimes in general, as at the moment I really don't have the time for that.

They're in the FBI arrests report I linked, I adjusted to just violent crimes as it makes more sense. The figures in the report are raw though and dont account for population or anything, so be careful about that if you're taking a look

This. That's the problem when the country you live in is willing to give any Tom, Dick, or Harry a gun and a badge.

The other officers have been charged.

I do also just want to note here that it’s incredibly difficult to become a LEO in most departments. The overwhelming majority of departments don’t just give anyone a badge and gun.

I’d like to propose some more food for thought though...is it possible these officers just either got complacent or stupid after time on the job? I’m not saying that would excuse it by any means, but given they’re charging the officer with manslaughter (from what I’ve read at least), that would mean that the loss of Mr. Floyd was unintentional. Still doesn’t excuse it, but just some food for thought...

It doesnt seem to say that anywhere in the article?

Kneeling on someones neck for 8 minutes and 46 seconds whilst they are telling you that they can't breathe can't be put down to complacency or stupidity.

yes it can, look:

Race isn't a factor in the killing, he was killed because the officer was stupid
