There's the same, if not more, player interaction on Truenorth than there was on Rockford. The majority of people roleplay in the city, using the premade shops, restaurants, etc. I've only really seen people drive out of the city to just drive around. However, there was one call that myself and another officer had to respond to in the middle of nowhere and it was surprisingly enjoyable having to navigate through the dirt roads to find a 911 caller.

By comparing it to Rockford, you aren't exactly setting a high line for standards.

Well, what if I'm comparing it to v4b1, v5p, v2d, and Rockford?

If you were comparing to v4b1 then you would be completely incorrect saying true north has more interaction by a LONG stretch

If we switched to TrueNorth, we would definitely need either a rule banning contraband and other stuff like that in the mines OR we have some kind of system to allow the searching of the mine

Why not make it an area that isn't allowed to be entered unless authorized by the President. Police could search there sometimes and check if someone is trespassing it

In my opinion, Truenorth has more interaction between players than v4b1.

Now now that’s the biggest lie I’ve heard in some time
Performance wise, I get pretty good FPS. It's not much different than Rockford. It's a bit laggy in the bends and corners of a street sometimes, but it actually performs better with more people online than Rockford does for me.

Also, the echos are pretty sweet. Sirens sound amazing on it, however the other ambient sounds are a bit loud.

+support from me at the moment.
My opinion on True North from Little time played because I'm a muppet,
1)Although a Huge amount Bigger, it doesn't feel as if I don't see anyone.
2)FPS from what I have seen is more stable with more players and generally better overall
3) Lots of room for Dupes
4) Lots of Shops on the main street
5) Big ass mine with Spookys in (‍ )
I think if we had a proper measurement for the chauffeur job in the taxi with a set rate per 100 hammer units, losing your car wouldn’t be an issue but as the chauffeur job isn’t very desirable at the moment except to new players, losing your car is a pain in the arse.
this map aight but i get no fps

specs:
i7-7700k @ 4.0 Ghz
GTX 1080 Gigabyte OC
32 GB DDR4 ram (it rgb if that helps)

i do the commands and i get like 30 fps in the city and 40 outside
TrueNorth allows such a wide range of RP's. I'd say this would be an amazing map to continue with

+support

v2d had even more interaction since it's tiny.

Yeah but v2d is outdated

Yeah but v2d is outdated

v2d is the best map to exist with the elevator that had to go to every floor, slums doomforts, MTL doomforts, pool doomforts, radio station doomforts, etc.

So,

I honestly enjoy this map, and have done consistently throughout the time playing it. Yes, it is bigger than Rockford and perhaps sparse in several areas but the map doesn't come across being 'empty' even on a somewhat full server - Yes, I admit that parts are empty but there are various hot spots throughout the map where players come together, the main area being Railway Ave. (fookin misleading cos it isn't anywhere near the railway smh). Yeah, there is a lot of fake buildings but compare Railway Ave to 190 Main St. - If 190 is occupied, that's it. The only store is occupied, but here with TN you have various spaces to set up your shops and your RP's. I've also seen a larger number of players interact with one another, unlike Rockford where most people would be spread out across the map.

In addition to this, speaking to ‍ during his RangerRP, there is a lot more space and 'freedom' to build on TN as opposed to most EvoCity and Rockford Maps. The main area on Evo would be Grassy Field, but it doesn't allow for much - Whereas with TN, areas away from the hot spots are mostly flat and unoccupied allowing for people to build whatever they want really.

Overall i'd say a big +Support
