Considering LL is very much into building options for their RP, this is quite the issue
Well there are a few areas that are fine for building. Just means you will have to use the environment around you differently.
I still perfer V5P over Truenorth for a few simple reasons:
I get to see players often
I get to interact with players often
When we ran Truenorth I honestly almost never saw any RP beyond car chases, a store once or twice that entire week and more forest based contra facilitys than you could shake a stick at.
I play LL to see and interact with the community, and TN out of all the maps we've trialed, was the absolute WORST in terms of bringing people together to meet new people, and have a fun time.
V5P brings people together, i saw shops, casinos, strip clubs, car chases, fishers, mechanic shops, tow yards, farms, cabs, custom train stations, houses being used etc etc.
17x ive seen far less than on V5P, but i can still say that as much as 17x sucks ass, it at least brings people together more than TN ever did.

much as I love TN the player interactions have been good the past two weeks. But v5p is a map i despise, its roads are useless, narrow and bumpy and is designed to make people crash. The map nullifies any form of police chase except driving to the other side and have a shootout, unless you got a really fast car like the lambo and you could get away oh wait no your car will get stuck on a bump in the road. V4B1!!
Let's face it, TN is bad in terms of player interaction, but whilst V5P is better, it has plenty of flaws. V4B1 has been used for a long time and proven to be an effective RP map - LL was good on this map.
Only reason why i liked TN is the flexibility, just a lot of RP opportunities, with its open space, various area, i think it would be great if it was introduced permenantly.

It's great to say that there are a lot of
opportunities, but it's useless if people aren't going to take them, and the server ends up feeling empty aside from a few car chases.
I think there's no denying that this works in theory, but it doesn't go into fruition in practice.

I guess its just the fact that there are a lot of areas to rp in, like the farm area, the huge city streets, the massive lake area, i just like the look of it compared to evo, its too claustrophobic.

By this TN is far to Agoraphobic, but id still take a smaller more fine tuned RP space to play around and build in where I can actualy meet people like V5P, than a much more open, less specialized RP space to play around and build in, where I meet almost no one ever like on TN
I'm sorry but Truenorth is just so damn good looking, and it's got an amazing city area. It also looks extremely realistic and has great potential.
Real life rural town:
Truenorth:
It could look so amazing i drop to the floor and suddenly start praying to god at its majesty.
It wouldn't matter because its about as interesting and good for RP as a lump of mashed potatoes
Weird to hear it has limited player interaction due to its layout yet I constantly ran into people that wanted to be seen. Where were the others I couldn’t find? Guess those few others didn’t want to be found. V5p was no different other.
