Trust me, we can manage. Just requires a little effort is all.

Maybe yes man but mean while why u are busy with one case someone runs away with lack of evidence cause not all players have record software ready to take evidence and sometimes would be  more easy if admin just came to the situatio quickly , thats why i think theres lack of admins or mods , and sometimes on certain hours theres no one to help players online , trust me because i see most of time servers without staff

I've been quite distant recently from Limelight but I think with a little activity increase from people like myself, we should resolve those problems.

One admin can handle a full server, it isn't impossible.

Even that theres no reason to not promote moderators man

But one Administrator vs. a 40-50, sometimes even 60 player server might get the chance to roleplay a little bit more when there are three or four Moderators able to help him out with the @-calls.

Not impossible, but surely more hands make light work?

One admin can handle 25-50% of @ calls being brought in at most, they will get a call, respond to it, then get another call, but still be busy, get more, the calls before will get forgotton as they continue with the first call, then they get more calls ontop of that, by time the first call is resolved, only the most recent @ call is most likley to be responded to and the rest will be forgotton.

I have said for a very veerrryyy long time that a mod team needs at least 10-15 people from a large set of timezones to cover all playtimes.

In the last 2 days that ive been on the server, i have spent exactly zero time actualy sitting aside RPing for myself, a group, or checking for RPs, ive been entirely phased responding to nothing but @ calls.

The lack of moderators is most definitely a problem.
Remember that moderators aren't going to be promoted just like that. We do our best to ensure our staff are of the highest standard and have a good level of integrity with regards to the rules. I imagine lots of people think they're capable of undertaking administrative duties, but in reality it does take some getting used to. No DarkRP admin experience is going to prepare you for controlling CityRP.

If there is a current operational demand for more staff, our quickest option to resolve that problem is to encourage our current staff to play.

I wasn't saying that Moderators have to be promoted ''just like that'', however, it IS needed that they are going to appear on the server at some point. The server is populating, which is definitely a good thing but is something that floods the current Administrators and Moderator with @-calls, too. It limits them from roleplaying, and I think adding some extra Moderators to the team would make that (a lot) less.

Also, you never know what type of staff experience someone has before being elected to moderate Limelight. I wouldn't assume people only have ''DarkRP experience''.

Also, some staff members have full-time jobs, schooling or personal problems to handle so to let a server sink in @-calls just to motivate the Administrators to hop on, ...I don't think it'll work.

I've managed to handle a 75 slot server by myself while another admin ran a small RP event. It just takes some practice.
Not to mention diferent time zones , we had two admins resigning , give to team fresh blood , replace them with mods , its really needed , maybe that will encourage Admins coming again to the game

All due respect, but there's a difference between 'handling' @-calls and actually taking care of them. I have had my share of staff experience and I could imagine that being flooded by help calls left and right would rather have you raffle them off instead of being able to take the time for each and one of them to help the regarding player(s) out.
