Map should be choosen update wise, as new updates have seem to make game lose FPS. If the map can hold on to better FPS even thou new updates, it should be chosen. What comes to dupes and RP I think v5p could offer a lot more, as rockford could also. Only problem with rockford was that we had Evocity and it is the one which takes the people.
EDIT: Better FPS could increase car roleplays and better drivers. I fight all of the time with FPS with my driving since my fps drops below 20 when I drive at inner city.

-The fire station is quite far from city
-Very long straight roads and tunnels leading to different map sections. Generally some areas feel a bit empty.
Overall it's great. A lot of the dupes would still work thanks to the transfer and empty spaces in the map. v4b1/v33x got stale for me and I'd support a map update like this any day
We have very talented People with hammer editor, i am sure they could edit those minus stuff away
I would love to see this map with the changes from lewd

I'd love to see a new map, some of the road structures look alot more smoother than the current. I find the current has alot of FPS taxing buildings in one small area, sort of split up like that looks to me like an awesome benefit. Keep the dream alive.

It have been almost 1.week and a half since this post started , votes are telling you if we want the change pr not , can anyone tell us if it will get agreed? Almost more than 80% people want the change.

Alright, thing is - our current map looks barely full enough at the best of times. Sure, the city may look reasonably full of people normally, but step outside the city tunnel and it's sparse - so many buildings and houses outside the city are never used, apart from some for some criminal RP. Do we really need to change to a huge map such as this one?
V5P is just too big. People would be spread so far apart that no real roleplay happens. It'd be just too easy for people to set up somewhere in the vast map and contrafarm. When we have more people in a smaller map, there is a dense and bustling city with shops and passive RP - something that always should be promoted - and the map is integral to promoting that.
I've seen v2p (a very similar map, albeit the city is much larger than in v5p) be an absolute failure in a certain other CityRP server - simply because it is so damn empty. People didn't want to set up stores. It was bad.
While I do like this map and the features it has, it really needs a lot more people to become alive.
Why do we need a bigger map? What we need, if we were to change map in my opinion, is a slightly smaller map like that of an edited and slightly upgraded v2d layout for a more controlled area size and the promotion of RPing with others.

Efff elll arr p had a map this large a while back and it was a disaster; the city felt deserted even if the server peaked at 70 people. It had a lot of great features, but if you use them you're lucky to get even one person to pass by. This map is perfect for contrafarming, bot roleplay.

True thing , However rockford is really good , I belive rockford will be good
Note : Don't say "We gave rockford a chance" Well i know we did but it was US and lets give it another shot.
