I have never had an issue with that door, and I have always been in my fire engine. Besides, a high security building with no door securing the underground parking would be a big security flaw.

That is why you create a gate. Also I see no reason why one officer of the police force can't be able to place a gate down? Most people place a gate down either way so removing this just removing the door causes less issues.

It's a gate that opens for anyone and cannot be locked in any way. How would removing it be a security flaw?

I spent some time tonight when I got home testing the door out. Both with a standard vehicle and a fire engine. I had no issues getting in and out of it.
What I do see that could be done though is keeping it locked for all but government. I thought it was that way once upon a time...

Tip: When entering or exiting there should only be one vehicle within the activating radius (its actually a square but whatever), and wait until the vehicle has left the other side for good as there is an activating square there too. To sum up it pretty easy to use but there has to be only one vehicle and you have to be kinda fast(if you fail to do it fast, back up and go forward again to reset the door timer.) The problem with that is - why should I have to go through that every single time when it would be easier to just remove the door? And doing that with the limo is difficult because it's long so you can't do it "rather fast". You do not have to go through that process every time, but once a while you might need to follow one of the steps I mentioned above.

The reason for the gate being fine for you is because when multiple people are that the door it glitches out the system and recognizes multiple people at the door meaning when one is at it, it will open then when another is it closes which then is hard to re-open the door due to having to reverse or move away and then go back.

Yes, as Midget said, the garage door works fine when you are the only person using it. When you are part of a convoy or have any other people in close proximity there is a very high risk of being killed by it because it opens and closes fairly unpredictably.

As said. Not hard to add a couple of props and a keypad. Simple and easy
