All servers in the United Kingdom are utter trash that is ran by one company. Don't do it. European servers are pretty shotty unless you wanna pay quiet a great deal of dosh for Scandinavian "HOLY FUCK HOW MUCH IS THE TAX?" servers or just simply doing USA servers because it seems a majority of our players are from the United States and the fact that we have better infrastructure here in the United States.

In meanwhile you could go out with your friends. It doesn't mean if the servers are down, the world ends. That's ridiculous. I'm pretty sure its not only to restart the "Server Box". They might have other problems on their end. Only what LimeLight can do is wait.

So what I suggest just be patient.

unfortunatly Senor Baguette has took a snail eating break and contracted a rare disease called "snails disease" which makes him work at a fucking piss poor rate. Anyway the side effects of snails disease is that it means our services are delayed by another day

OVH has 360,000 servers in one data-center in the USA.

OVH is 'Good' until something goes wrong, their support is terrible because you get what you pay for.
I am pretty sure they offer paid-support packages for better support. And they also offer a more advanced DDOS-migration service which is within the servers budget (maybe should be considered)

I think considering getting a new server host shouldn't be out of the question. Also please dont host it in the US, I got enough ping as it is.

Ive seen quite a few servers hosted in germany canada or the us -  but i dont know too much about their qualitys. As long as the servers will come back im fine with everything. And yeah ovh kinda fucked up i guess. However im afraid a canadian/us server will cause a higher latency for the european users which is a large majority. So it gotta be some high performance stuff

But how long will the working take? Like, maybe a definite time as we have been waiting so long ;-;, reading "It will be up tomorrow" "It will be up later today". We refresh 20 times a minute waiting for the magical servers to come, yet nothing.

We're very sorry about the misleading "tomorrow", but at the time that's what we expected.

We won't be releasing any more dates/times until we're 100% sure, but OVH are apparently looking into it so it honestly can't take too long else we'll just go elsewhere instead of OVH.

You should probably stay away from day-precise estimations. I dont mind waiting for three days longer but it is a bit dissapointing if you spend 2 or 3 days with the promise: will be up tomorrow. I mean its more then understandable that there are unexpected issues and therefore unexpected delays but if you dont have all the technical infos/knowledge you´ll never know which message is to be taken seriously.

Actually, I think it is completely in our concern.
There is no reason that the community can not voice their own opinion and offer ways that they think will resolve problems.


Also, maybe we should consider a CDN for players in the USA and other regions than the server is hosted. Would take some pressure off.
