+support, sadly the majority of 0 hour players who join the police force end up being a nuisance to other players. By no means were all 0 hour cops like that, but enough that I feel the hour restriction should be a thing.

Hour restrictions do not do anything but discriminate against new players to our community and server.

In my opinion I think that if players with low hours want to roleplay as police officers, they should be allowed to so without having to reach a certain hour requirement beforehand. New players will soon learn how to roleplay as a police officer effectively (if they don't already). I will have to -Support this.

I can also understand that putting a hour requirement can get some players used to the servers before they become an important government role, but I can also see this driving players away from LimeLight. It will be much easier for everyone if there is no hour requirement (Less complaints from new players etc.). Players who abuse the police officer role will most likely get issued a suitable punishment anyway. I have seen both new players and players with "high" hours abuse the police officer role anyway.

+Support Ive seen to many officers asking how to lock or even enter their car. If you cant handle the gorund functions you should not be permitted to exectute arrests for reasons you might not fully understand or handle a weapon.

Minimum Playtime:
4h for Police and 8-10h for sergeant

Test:
If we wont implement a minimum Playtime a NPC-Dialoge could be a good idea. This method is very popular in Dark RP etc.
Basic questions like how do i perform a warrant, when am i permitted to use (lethal) force, where can i see the current laws and speed limits, how can i radio/request backup... Those would be efficent but easy questions assuring a basic knowledge and competence of the officer. People who still strugle can ask officer or teachers or probably get ridealongs

I like this idea. Often I see cops with 0 hours being minges and shooting civs and random tazing.

+Support for 4 Hour Restriction

I'm defiantly tired of people with 0 hours constantly breaking rules or being AFK and not knowing what to do, if the limit is put on, it with both make roleplaying better, but also put a lighter weight on the admins. What if there was hour restrictions on weapons? There should also be some sort of RP tutorial video (unless there already is one)

Over 10~20h to police officer.

Over 20~30h to police sergeant.

They have way more jobs to rp, and I see no reason for those values to be lower.

By the time a player has 10~20h, should know the rules and take responsability if they don't RP Cop properly.

Or looking at how other cops do it, a.k.a. shadowing.

Most-likely the player would be new to the gamemode so it is probably best that they get used to the way things work before they are given guns, tazers and handcuffs.
