The few passive RPs I've seen have been either my rooftop restaurant, Aryen seems to have made something and Markus did his carparks and railways but that's about it. Mind you, only been playing a little while and irl stuff has stopped me a little. Seems like a lot of people have squirreled their way to another end of the map and grown weed (as per usual) and now the same old story is happening but on a fresh new map. The inauguration was meant to have a dinner party but certain people spoiled it so much that the dinner was cancelled and all of the politicians which hadn't even made any policies yet hid in the senate for 2 hours odd as the same people came back again and again. 

People are complaining about a dying server, but every single passiveRP that comes along seems to get either spoiled and burnt down or just has the entire tone lowered by aggroRP. People who do aggroRP complain about restrictive rules, but the enjoyment of other players who don't like "bang bang shooty shooty" RP is at stake if they can't do what they enjoy without every "mafia" clan which acts like terrorists breathing down their neck.

It's not our fault that you decided hide inside because of no reason, no one knew that he was hostaged until the cops found him so don't know why you hid from nothing. You also say you had to hide inside for "2 hours odd" when I quite clearly saw you guys standing outside just before the cops came which then ended in about 5 minutes.

As for being back on topic, I think that RP hasn't really been that much of a problem, literally any time I've driven down main street there's been actual players everywhere and usually at least one passive dupe. It could use improvements but overall we're doing well so far.

There has been a recent problem, I've noticed, with passive events getting crashed, as Monty pointed out. Kimpow tried to do a fishing event, that got crashed, we tried to do a governor inauguration, not only did we have to have unreal amounts of security, but it still got crashed. What are staff going to do about it is what I want to know?

Kimpows fishing event hardly got crashed. Me and Nemesis were online at that spot for hours before Kimpow came on. If anything, Kimpow crashed our nice passiveRP.

If that's aimed at me I made an on-topic point that I'd like to see answered, and brought up something that I genuinely believed was a problem with the community.

Eh, hardly addressing concerns, should be concerned about Doctor Internet still having administrative power over anyone. While contributing a lot of content to the server, which is very good for the community - not to undermine the work & efforts put into the gamemode, because Doc's done a lot for the community & I think most of us could agree on that.

But on the other side of things, the decision making skills as far as player punishment goes, are lacking quite heavily in my honest opinion. It seems to be always rather one sided, whilst claiming to be 'in the middle'. Anyone with half a brain who can read basic English can read the responses of Doc & see that he loves to throw his power around at any given chance, especially when you try to challenge him or his buddies (whom mind you, also never get warned, despite their attitudes & responses being mostly disrespectful). 

ForceGhost especially in particular, on page 5 of this thread even, he obviously has to go out of his way to lowblow the staff team saying 

'I also think that a more competent staff team would help player population.'

To which I asked him whom he was referring to as 'more competent', but absolutely no name put forward, nor any elaboration to make his case sound believable.

I'm referring to certain staff members as incompetent, based on my experience dealing with them.


Hmm, now he's calling an unnamed member incompetent, but that's no issue at all, Doctor Internet couldn't care less about that because it doesn't pertain to him. As soon as I turn the conversation, telling Force that's a lot coming from him considering being one of the most incompetent players still here, behold here comes Doctor Internet to his rescue to post a Staff Notice obviously aimed towards me. It's not hard to see the pattern, if you want to make the server a better place then yeah ForceGhost is absolutely right, we need a more competent staff team. We don't need staff members who push people around, threatening to ban users for virtually nothing, adding a staff notice on top of that so you're absolutely certain everyone gets to see how empowered you are.

If you want real results & players to enjoy their stay, you should probably check yourself & your attitude because no matter how slick you think you sound on some forums, or in-game, you're only making people hate you that much more. Y'know, it's even a waste of my time to sit here and write this because ultimately nothing changes, we can have cool updates & this & that but at the end of the day, we lose players because of people like Doc & Force because they go out of their way to give people a bad experience. 

My advice, grow the hell up & stop trying to bully & intimidate people on a video game, we're all here to have fun, aren't we? If your idea of fun is ruining the experiences of others intentionally, you're the problem, and the solution is to remove you. 

I'm sure this response will be found most offensive, although I'm just being honest & straight forward. Say whatever you'd like, I mean no harm in my response, but out of respect for the server & the users who appreciate the experiences they make here. Nonetheless, I wish the best of luck to all sides, maybe someday in an alternate universe we can all get along.

@Judge Rage‍ we are aware of issues like those and will do our very best to moderate, ease out any tensions and allow for a good roleplay experience that includes a smoth run of events of course. Whilst it is hard to exactly pin point a specific measure (there is no simple and all-around solution to a complex and variable situation) we aware and prepared to allow for  smoth rp experience within our ruleset.

You concern is of course a valid and valuable contribution to this discussion and as I said perviously we are aware of the recent developements. The reason why we urge people to stay on topic is that whilst some contributions like your last comment regarding passive rp are raising a valid and cruicial concern some people act out a little during the dicussion and either use it to engage in or extent some hostilitys or simply fail to stay on topic. Whilst its one thing to say that a recent event raised some concern. It is not productive to battle out the exact details on how said event went down etc. Of course there can be anger and frustration and there can be arguments. This perfeactly understandable. But this is simply not the right channel. Besides it may be worth to say that some people seem to thrive on some reactions (ask yourself the question wether you want them to)

This sounds very stiff i know that but here is the deal: We all care about this community and its wellbeeing. There has been tons of good input on this discussion. Just please (not directed to you but in general) distinguish between whats relevant for this particular thread and what may be best to discuss elsewhere. And lets keep this particular thread constructive as it has already provided very valuable feedback.

I was there at the time you and Nem where doing this and I've got to be honest, it seems a bit too coincidental not to be a malicious act of sabotage on a Passive RP. Kim had posted the previous night at around 10pm that she was doing a fishing RP the next day at that particular time that you guys "just so happened" to setup a barricade around the entire lake and was charging 10K per person for them to be able to use it. She even posted reminders on that same thread twice, all of this being public. Looking at yours and Nem's post / thread history, you where both actively participating on the forums the same day this was announced. Just seems a bit fishy to me, doesn't it? (Pun intended.)

Perhaps certain players have an effect on the server but staff are looking for Map feedback and maybe concerns about the map, This constant bickering of hes powerhungry and they are mingy af isn't gonna help the server, unless the person either staff or players breaks a rule then im sure the staff or HR will do their job in making sure they are punished but calling people bias etc isnt gonna lead to any good so we should focus more on what we can improve content and map wise instead of the "He should get permd or demoted talk"
