The primary one I recall is Overlewd, from another PR involving myself. Where @Overlewd‍ said the following.

Overlewd Wrote:To all of the accused in this situation (ForceGhost, Sours, Nemesis), it was not entirely reasonable to initiate an aggressive response there. There weren't even any handcuffs on Force and he wasn't being told he was being arrested yet. I expect better from experienced players such as yourselves than to act on assumptions in situations like these. Consider this a warning.[

Additionally, Sours, as the only person of the accused who used a lethal weapon to kill/injure multiple police officers (without actually tranqing anyone), will receive a weapons blacklist.

In short, you should have waited until it was certain ForceGhost was going to be arrested on a serious and/or clearly invalid charge.

Overlewd Wrote:Well, in a situation where you are severely outnumbered the reasonable RP thing to do would be not to initiate any conflict at all.

And yet another reason to try make absolutely sure your friend is actually getting arrested. One of the checks in the checklist of going-to-potentially-get-arrested is being handcuffed.

In this case, Nemesis was being hit by the arrest baton, that shows clear intent in my opinion. I would call either a) Attempting to break an individual out of prison who has murdered multiple cops. Or b) Escaping a correctional facility. Both pretty serious charges. At the time I wasn't outnumbered so I didn't think it would be an issue resolving the conflict swiftly.

Quote:There weren't even any handcuffs on Force and he wasn't being told he was being arrested yet.

There were no cuffs on Nemesis, as you said he was posing as a prisoner and you knew the risks. You cannot simply use the excuse that you previously committed crimes therefore you're free to kill any police officer that may be arresting you.

Quote:In short, you should have waited until it was certain ForceGhost was going to be arrested on a serious and/or clearly invalid charge.

The charge was not invalid, however you took the risk of trespassing, I fail to see how trespassing constitutes a serious charge. - "Escaping a correctional facility" does not apply since he was never incarcerated. It's only trespassing, you cannot escape a prison if you're not a prisoner.

I see little similarities between this case and the one you quote, additionally I'm not sure if you noticed that you're directly quoting from an approved player report.

I have to agree with the words quoted from Overlewd well over a year ago now;

Quote:"I expect better from experienced players such as yourselves than to act on assumptions in situations like these."

In conclusion this player report is approved and the accused will receive a 3 day ban along with a 5 hour weapons blacklist.
