I can speak for most of my guys and can say we agree with @"Gungranny"‍ .

Aggressive RP rules are being enforced too heavily. We can have an experience similar to LL without such heavy handedness of the enforcement of the rules affecting RP easily, so why wouldn't we do that? Too many grey areas make aggressive RP stressful, not knowing if something that was allowed one day, will be disallowed by a different member of staff.

Yeah sure. Just delete thousands of hours of work and progress. Of course. Because that is a reason that especially the old players will come back, to hear that their 2000 hours of playtime are deleted.

Why? People have spent a lot of money/time on LL to get the amount that they have now, and an economy reset would just get rid of all that. All that'd do is make people not want to play the server, as they might as well have thrown the money into a fire.

I disagree. Nobody is playing now due to there being nothing to buy and nothing to do,everyone is loaded and the economey is broken. Nobody needs to actually play BMD or gun dealer etc...

So because ALL my stuff I worked for is away, I will come back and play another ~2000 hours again to get it all back again?

sure pal

IIRC, When LL started, then-SA Fultz took off as he "planned on resigning from FL before the whole split happened. Then Enzyme and Rickets convinced me to give it a shot, I lasted a month and honestly had no interested in starting anew." (according to a post of his from 11/2017), if an oldie like Fultz would of left after years of playing CityRP because he had to start from fresh, I bet you if your proposition happened, many players would do the same and probably leave as they feel their time and effort wasted/lost forever.

This is just an example that comes to my mind, but still is pretty relevant.

Well thats up to you isnt it if you want to get it again?

Also It's not like it's actually going to happen its pretty obv that staff would give a community a vote on the matter.

That's a fair point which i understand fully. But i do believe that it will encourage other players to play more as they have more stuff to work towards and items not being way overpriced as they are currently.

Wiping inventories will do nothing but enrage the community even more. The way to fix the economy is adding more items to buy, or to inflate prices temporarily.

The issue is not having it all in my opinion, it’s the lack of what you can do with it, as Theo (I think) pointed out, we need more updates and to expand on what we currently have, that’s a better solution than to effectively wipe the slate clean.

Oh, hello there.

Rules being taken a look into is important and needs to be balanced from all around, considering roleplay when deciding if something is a rule breakage is something that requires us to take a look at things from all sides, to make sure it's completely balanced, or as balanced as it can be. As in the end, this is a roleplay server and enhancing your character's needs, motivations through roleplay is what makes it quality. However, this, in turn, would create more diverse situations, with more diverse punishments as the rules will have to be interpreted with the roleplay in question.

Now, this brings the issue of some people wanting more set punishments, which in this case would be a bit more difficult but that is not something that would keep this from happening.

The issue would start with us considering which rules can be turned into more roleplay oriented rules, the best option to review those is to have a community input thread. I'll be bringing that up with the staff team, and hopefully we'll get a thread started as soon as possible.

Other issues like the inventory wipe, economy wipe could bring more people back, or push people back with people not wanting to start over.

Ban-wipe, if as a player you matured and kept that punishment filled past behind you, it shouldn't matter.  I don't think anyone will hold it against you if you got banned 3 times but the last one was in 2017. As staff, for example, I don't take 2-year-old punishments into account unless they have been continuously happening since 2017.

What I mean is, if for example A got banned 4 times for disconnecting to avoid rp in 2017 but hasn't done it since then, yet did it again in 2019, I wouldn't take those 4 times into account when deciding.

But if B got banned for disconnecting to avoid rp in 2017, and he has been banned every now and then, and did it again in 2019, I'll take that into account.

Perhaps an idea would be, if people are getting judged by what they did 2 years ago yet haven't done it since, would be allowing staff to see one's entire history but only allowing the public to see the punishments within the year.

Lots of things to talk about, lots of things to sort out, so, let's hopefully have a solution filled summer.

I'll post in this thread again regarding the rule input, if I don't post here, that means the thread has openned.

I want permanent bans to be permanent. If they’re are appealable, don’t call them permanent

I can't see any reason for new people to engage, most people have a few million in game; dying and losing stuff equipped means nothing because they have about 15 sets in their inventory. Few people actually buy properties to do anything other than contra farm. Basically it's strayed from roleplay to making money rp.

I also don't think it helped that members of the staff team and community refused to address the issue when it was in it's early stages and instead just labeled it as "It's just exam time bro". Bad do not sure LL can bounce back without some radical change tbh.

Your experience does not really align with the rest of the aggressiveRP players, mainly because you are always playing on the so stressful "grey areas" to make the life of other people miserable, if you are not aware you have made a good chunk of veteran players quit limelight due to the way you do your roleplay, which as far I have witnessed, it has even pissed some staff how much you walk the fine line between breaking a rule or not. While staff do have inconsistencies on what one considers a breach of the rules and one that doesn't, it needs to be addressed but it is not as huge as you make it to be.

Don't take this as a personal attack but more as facts being stated.

If this is the case, and so many veteran players have left. Shouldn't those grey areas be tightened up? According to your post it's a major issue and perhaps it should be something HR and the team focus on. Staff are clearly aware of the problem if it's pissed them off so much.

@Project‍ Force isn’t the only Aggro player to bring this up. It’s been a consistent issue for almost a year and a half now. Yes he does it very extremely but it is in no way an exaggeration.
