I saw the poll without reading the thread and assumed you were talking about cops in general (they're good), but the cops on LL just seem to ruin a lot of rps by forcing their cop rp on them when they've not done anything suspicious or illegal.

Usually that Cop RP is enforcing the law, soooooo maybe don’t do something that seems suspicious or illegal? Most cops now on LL are a lot better than they used to be. Most situations cops encounter are due to the suspect agitating or causing the escalation out right. If you have a problem with one of the cops contact a supervisor. If they’re continually just abusing their power to be a dick contact staff.

Overall if a cop has to deal with you, 9/11 times it’s because that situation requires a police presence.

I honestly do think the PoliceRP here is the best you'll get without a whitelist system, it's seriously so much better than pretty much any other server which has the slot completely open.

1. I'd suggest not shooting up mainstreet just because you got arrested for saying "Hippity Hoppity your mother is now my property".
2. Staff will deal with the case at hand. They will deal with your punishment and then if need be open a new case for any person you have accused.

I don't think you properly read my post. I'm referring to passive rps where cops just want to ruin it by making it into their own little cop rp, or when people are minding their own business in their house doing nothing, and a cop just assumes they're doing weed or have contraband when they're just not. The cops in LL will find any excuse to raid/arrest/shoot, and that's the sad reality of LL.

I repeated your statement for a reason because as much as I like playing as police, it does get boring once in a while. I haven't seen cops do questionable raids for a LONG time unless it's for suspicious or illegal activity from police and civ sides. Unless you can give a recent example, I can't really say that it happens as often as you think. In fact, I'd say it's a gotten a LOT better since a few months prior when a lot of cops were minges. Now they usually have good leadership and restraint as current staff members don't bat an eye to cops abusing their power for IC purposes.

I mean, the vote speaks for itself (However it is still a tiny portion of LL).

Cops do a good job I think. Sometimes their annoying or incompetent but not too often
I'm normally quite pleased with the force when I go president

Do think they need to look at the president set laws sometimes. Have had to rebuff police for trying to arrest for legal issues before. And was once stopped as I was in the dune buggy and according to the officer who stopped me, it wasn't road legal (I ran a stop sign too. Fair play) was impounded but got it back after taking it up with the pres since there was no law stating it was illegal

Don’t think having a fully whitelisted PD would work personally but I could see the cheif position being whitelisted which would raise the standards I think.
