Does anyone else have the problem where they still haven't "downloaded" the map? I have to download it from the server every time I join.

Evocity_v5p

Fearless RP, practically our sister community given that we share the same gamemode, just voted to change maps from v5p to a much smaller one.

V5p is way too big for our community size if it was too big for theirs. 

"But all the places to roleplay"

Over half of the community simply farms contra, gets into a shootout with the cops, gambles, and repeats this process. The large and specious map of v5p does nothing to benefit that. 

And for the minority that does Passive RP, a bigger map won't help them with our small-ish community/active playerbase. Fearless RP has a larger community than us and has a much more active Passive RP playerbase than us, and they even complained about the larger map. 

Rockford is far from perfect and perhaps there is a better map out there, but v5p isn't the answer.

As for other maps like v4b1b there's a reason why we switched from that map long ago. Too dark, low fps, too big.

If we want a new map, we need to think outside the box a bit and find a smaller and optimized map.

V5P was very successful on FL
Only issue was their idea of roleplay evolve do into this idea that forcing everyone to interact is somehow a good idea. It's why 50% of their community voted to bring back a terribly compact map such as V2D - although the other half voted for Pines which inevitably won despite being even larger than V5P.

It's about quality of player interactions and not quantity of them. I shouldn't be on a map that forces me to setup a roleplay near other people. V5P allows me to be creative and actually, with some effort, make it difficult to find me. The reason this feels like Cops N' Robbers is because we are on a map that has CriminalRP/AggressiveRP in close proximity to PassiveRP/GovernmentRP

Maps such as v2d and v33x back in their prime being 2012-2014 were ideal, they were compacted into a good size where player interaction was great and RPs were noticable. Where as on Pines I yet to see more than 1-2 RPs being Cops, Criminals (Contra Farming), I'd really enjoy seeing v2d or even v41b coming in as a replacement! I remeber when LimeLight started in Aug 2015, we had v2d running on the server and it was brillaint, loads of player interaction, that was what really made LimeLight and City RP servers like it! Potneitally bringing back an EvoCity map will do the server good and bring back what we had before, also with the players being 40-50 on the server ATM, this will be a great way to bring light to the servers and RPs.

v5p wasn't a failure on Fearless. There were still active raids occurring across the whole map, and passive roleplays were almost always active on Mainstreet across from the Nexus. It was actually a very well balanced map, apart from Cliffside, which is a nightmare for anyone to drive on.

v5p Is a good option but the map is so massive,People will barely interact with each other its way bigger than rockford. but however i really like the map it has so much potentials. alot of free space to build.


Rockford is a cool map medium to large size but got bored from it.

v4b1 was so awesome cool size,people will interact with each other alot but we wanted a change.

v2d is so old but you know old is gold.


All are good for me but i got bored from Rockford tbh.
