Yeah, i've posted things before where no hidden posts are made. If I was to post a PR on a FUMUKU member, the hidden posts would rise and no doubt the PR would be dealt with by Blackdog so his clan members get minimum punishments. @Enzyme Can we see something done about clan member bias with staff? Something needs to be.

 A staff member can correct me on this but I am pretty sure that a while back someone had said there is a policy in place not allowing involved parties (or associated parties in this case) to conclude a PR. A staff member may advocate on support of their clan members but they can't decide upon. Isn't that a thing? @Staff

Bias behavior has been damaging Limelight's community for quite some time now and it is by no means an easy fix but white washing it does nothing to aid it. Player reports and clan decisions are in particular deeply rooted with bias decision making by administrative personal. Player reports by/of clan members being snatched by the clan leaders, administrators going out of their way to get certain player reports seemingly because they do not like the person reported or being reported.

Rules being made up, actions being compared with real life examples even when the actions are conflicting with rules are all strong examples of this. There seems to be an extreme lack of transparency when it comes to this sort of thing and I can see why people would think nothing is being done about it, I subscribe to this notion usually, especially when it frequently happens in even recent times. You know who I am talking about. 

Administrators going to extremes to defend their friends in player reports via hidden posts is another great example of this. Something to consider.

How do you know he is being bias about the situation? BD does a good bit of PR’s and some of them don’t get approved because they’re IC matters. Unless you have any evidence from these hidden posts, I don’t think it warrants an investigation.

I think I know HR good enough now that they’ll put more effort into a case with better evidence. A coincidence is not much to go off.

And how many of those reports will be utterly useless, you figure? I figure about majority of them.
I'm pretty sure considering the things I've learned from the staff team here on LL, BD's valid, with evidence supported cases if there are any will have been dealt with internally, as it should.

In terms of the hidden posts on PR's; There is inherently nothing wrong with this, aslong as BD's comments are bringing something to the table, aiding the case.
BD does not hold more power than any other administrator, let alone the superior ranks.
If he were to be so obvious, I highly doubt it would just be ignored by the team.

The number of reports of people is not what matters, but the quality of the reports themselves and what they provide.

Much like how I enforce the servers rules, no amount of people screaming at me that a player did a thing wrong will make me rule on them unless actual evidence of malicious intent can be shown to prove what they claim.

People have friends.  Staff aren't an exception to this.  However staff still tend to do their job correctly regardless of who's involved.  When I have an issue with an FI member, I go talk to Blackdog about it.  If there is anything to be done, he does it, regardless of the friendship.

That being said, people who tend to be on the unfavorable outcome side of sits are usually the ones claiming biased behavior.  If you feel like the person is biased, make a video and submit it.  Make sure it records what you say, and if it doesn't use text.  Then submit that to HR or the Abuse section, whichever flavor you prefer.

I'm not saying bias doesn't happen, but more often its simply an emotional response to an unexpected and unfavorable outcome that coincidentally involves friends or associates to the responding staff member.  That doesn't guarantee them any safety when it comes to a ruling, only that they'll probably get yelled at via steam after in addition to whatever punishment they receive.

When a member of staff resigns for "following months of bullshit from some staff certian group of LL staff members, having being tired of them and their bullshit and biased behavoir" it begs to question the true extent the accused bias and how bad it is behind closed doors, the bias some claim to be non-existent.

A member of staff essentially resigning over this does not bode well. A true shame that this has been allowed to get to the extent of members who have been here since the beginning deciding to up and leave because of it. It's disappointing that this is not the first and sadly won't be the last.
