Hey, I have recently been given a book with a bunch of Lateral Thinking Puzzles. If you don't know what a Lateral Thinking Puzzle is, then it is basically a riddle. A mind-bending, scrutinising one. This book has given me an idea for a competition, below I will put at least 10 or more LTPs (Lateral Thinking Puzzles). The first person to get them all correct will win one Dodge Ram 1500 Outdoorsman (it will be given via inventory manager). Ready? Thinking Caps on? 3. 2. 1. Solve!

Riddle 1:

A man stopped his car opposite a hotel and immediately knew that he was broke (bankrupt) how? [15]

Riddle 2:

There was a murder on the 7th of February 1954, the suspects are A dog, A white Male, A black Female, A Postman and a Newspaper Boy. Who did the murder? (Must say why the person did it)

Riddle 3:

Marty has 3 children, January, February. What is the name of the last child.

Riddle 4:

A woman watched her husband plunge headfirst down a deep ravine. She returned home to find him in the kitchen chopping onions. How is this possible?

Riddle 5:

A man left his apartment, that was on the top floor of an apartment building that had 100 floors, when this man got into the lift (elevator) he pressed the button to go on the first floor. When he came back into the elevator to get back up to his floor, he pressed the 76th floor and then walked up the steps. Why did he do this?

 

Riddle 6:

In 1987 a crane collapsed in a residential area of Liverpool at lunch-time, yet nobody heard anything. Why not? [41]

Riddle 7:

An aeroplane carrying sixty Mexican Lawyers to a convention in Rio, crashed and landed directly on the border between Colombia, Venezuela and Brazil. Under international law, where should the survivors be buried? [40]

Riddle 8:

My friend Sarah told me that her grandmother was younger than her mother. Could this be true? Must state why. [9]

Riddle 9:

A man looks out of a window. He is desperate to open it, yet he knows this would kill him. Why? [44] 

Riddle 10:

In 5 years time, I will be three times as old as I was three years ago. How old am I now? [64]

5)Because he is short,on regular days he can only reach the 7th floor,but on rainy days he brings his umbrella and pushes the 10th floor button with the umbrella,or is someone else is on the elevator then they will pick the 10th floor button for him.
