Your Name: Dan

Issued by:[L²] SirWulf

Blacklist ID: 73831

Server: Rockford

Why should you be unblacklisted?: I was responding code to an officer and was passing a group of cars on the side of the road. I passed them on the left and there was an SSA that got ran over. I could not see him while I was passing, as he was on the other side of a big SS Suburban, so as I passed, he either ran out in front of me, or I accidentally hit him because he was in a blind spot due to the Suburban. I had no intention of running him over.
The rule states: "Do not run people over on purpose (CDM), and always try to brake/avoid people on the roads."
I did not run him over on purpose.
I was not able to brake or avoid him because he popped out of no where (whether he ran out or was directly behind the Suburban in a blind spot).
I stopped my response in order to check up with the SS agent who was hit, so I did not just hit him and drive off, which I would have done if I intentionally hit him.
So according to the way the rule is written, I did nothing wrong.
Unbl pls

The staff-members have received your unblacklist-request, Dan.

It will take a while for it to be reviewed.

Hello Dan,

Let's go over the scene. The President had his Hummer parked to the side of the road with the Suburban right behind it. They were dealing with a third party harassing them. The President was on the sidewalk, while the SSA was between the Suburban and Hummer. Both vehicles were off to the side, the Suburban had its emergency lights on.

The Agent was in front of the Suburban standing still watching what the citizen and President were doing. This is when you arrived. You remained in the lane that the vehicles were parked in with no other vehicles in the road. Is it not a safe standard to allow some clearance while passing an emergency vehicle to, you know... avoid colliding with a government official?

Again, the SSA did not move during this incident. He did not jump out at you like you claimed after you did stop. The President was in complete shock by what happened and your answer to this was to remain in your vehicle and basically tell him to piss off as you then dart away. Not once did you try and save the SSA, you never applied medical treatment, apologize for the accident or show any type of remorse for killing a fellow government official.

So, overall. No, you did not 'avoid people on the roads.' You did not allow clearance between your vehicle and the parked vehicles. If you did, you wouldn't have struck the SSA standing in front of his Suburban.

Overall, this is a pretty clear cut case. And I was fairly lenient on you as you had logged out right before I finished my full investigation. I didn't have the chance to talk with you ingame.

So, do you have anything else to say before this is concluded?

You know I didn’t intentionally do it, right?

Do I? No, I don't. I've seen some very aggressive driving that night, intentionally slamming into the SWAT Van as Hamster and yourself were messing around near the gas station as one example I saw that night.

Although you might not have intentionally killed him, you might have tried to brush into the Suburban, or do a close call, or any other thing.

Either way, what you did end up doing was CDM. Intentional or not, your driving resulted in a fellow government official to get killed. You struck a person standing still the entire time, and your actions were to brush it off and blame the victim.

As such, this is a clear case of CDM. You did not try to brake/avoid people on the road.

As no further evidence was given, denied.
