Reason: Bought the lamp, and timed out after about 5 minutes of use. Apparently it's meant to be "crash proof" (assuming timing out counts as crashing), but I dont have the lamp nor the 25k I spent on it

Timing out does not unfortunately count as crashing - it's more akin to disconnecting. The system wasn't designed to refund on player disconnect because that could lead to players just leaving mid-raid or not bothering to pick up their gear as they should. I'll look into seeing if I can differentiate a time-out though.
Have confirmed through testing that the UV lamps are crash-proof in case of server crash or restart, however. This is also how the meth system works.
