I'm waiting for @ICEKILLER_99 's response. I have gave him instructions to reinstall his device, including drivers. I'll give him a poke on steam.

1) Make sure all drivers for your computer are updated to the latest version compatible with your system.
2) Use another USB port incase the one you are using has been damaged over the years.
3) Use a second mouse in another port with the proper drivers installed.
4) Delete previous mouse drivers and make sure only the one you are using right now are installed.
