Applying to not be "staff". Maybe at least "team" but it's like applying for job at McDonalds and being a cleaner but not listed as staff.

Contributers are on the list though.

Which to me makes some what sense if their content was pushed out at least for testing.

Well @"MidgetBeMidget" the list that @"ForceGhost" is talking about does say Team rather than Staff Team or something simular.

It is something that can be asked about the Veterans. Why are they on the "Team" and the same with Contributors. I know they are part of the "Development Team" however are Teachers not part of the "Teacher Team"?

Veterans are on there because of their past staff history here, makes sense to me personally.

Contributors are on there because of the work they do.

Personally I'd like to see teachers on there but people are just gonna have to face the fact that it isn't happening. This argument has been ongoing since Limelight first started, and nobody's changing their stance.

If I remember correctly, part of the argument was that people didn't want power going to teacher's heads. Considering most people made signatures / title text about being teachers, that argument is kinda null.

I'm not saying they should 100%.

Teachers still do quite a bit of work having to help players and most the time having to always put in OOC about the /help command etc. I would say they do a lot of work. Haven't even mentioned the forums.

I agree that teachers should be given both a forum rank and appear on the 'Team' page. I do think the forum badges need a slight redesign though.

It would be nice to see Teachers with forum ranks and to be on the staff page since at the minute it is hard to identify who is a Teacher, unless you go to the forum thread. Also Teachers have a private forum like staff, developers etc so I don't see why not.

Sure, forum tags would be nice but at the end of the day, we're only players entrusted with a little more power to help the community with any questions they might have about the game or gamemode.

Yes, staff team. Although you are still apart of the "Team". Doesn't state staff. Unless there are two categories on the page then that works two. One states "Staff" over states something like "Voluntary"

Teachers are on the team, Admins, and mods are no different than teachers, contribs, and so on when you get down to brass tacks, we are all just people entrusted with a little more power to help the community and as such those who are trusted with this kind of power should get their names on the Team list to allow people to find said people to communicate with them if need be.

SideNote: I literaly have no idea who is, and is not a teacher because I cannot easily reference their names on the team page, apparently there is a list somewhere, but wherever it is, it should be on that Team page

Why are they on the page?

Teachers are different then staff members, they are just experienced people of the game-mode who help people out, the staff team moderate the servers, development team push updates, veterans are ex-staff members who dedicated a lot of time to the servers to moderate.

Teachers are just experienced members of the game-mode.
