They have been fixed. Many times, don't complain about the rules being "too harsh" for agro rp when all you do is join to harass players and never actually RP. Thanks

So if it's still possible to "Harass players" and "Never actually RP" then doesn't that say there's still an issue with the rules?

There is evidence of you harassing players on and off the server for reporting you, destroying their roleplays because they dared oppose you at some point in their playtime on LL.

Your smug attitude to being told you are a problem just reassures me you do it intentionally and you are always aware how borderline you can get with the rules.

There are specific issues & they start with toxic community members, not sure what's so off-topic about that.

I've never liked the full switch to non-evocity maps. I'm gonna copy&paste what I said in the admin section:

Quote:I've always liked the Evocity Maps and Theme in general. I know we took our own directions with ditching evocity-themed maps, gamemode etc, but I feel as though the players really liked it.

The peaceful vibe of Evocity was fun. Not to mention its prominent places everybody recalls - CUBFOODS, TIDES HOTELS, Appartments, Industrial, Car Dealer, Suburbs, Lake, Nexus.
^ Those were the places where most of the roleplay took place. Whether it was a raid, police search warrants, Rebels (Anarchist) vs Corleones.

The major problem many players might had was to adapt to a brand new themed gamemode and map.
At least that is how I've always felt when playing on those new maps. I've never felt home on Rockford or Truenorth.
The only map that started to change that was Florida V2 on the US Server. While I was playing on it, I really hoped this map could be it. Sadly only a few players stayed on it until they vanished along with US-Server population.

Now I am not advocating that we switch back to Evocity, but I would support it if it comes up.

If we don't have abysmal fps, then please do bring it forward. Else, at-least lets get another vote or go back to Rockford.

Incompetent players isn't related to toxicity, how do you figure?
No need to beat around my response with your technical terms, the player base speaks for itself.
As for handing out bans, probably not the smartest thing you've said all day, let's hand out bans to the already minuscule playerbase, that'll definitely make the server better.

I'd rather have shit frames on a good map like v4b1 and have people to play with than have shit frames on TN and have an empty server.

Me, in a previous thread Wrote:I can speak for most of my guys and can say we agree with @Gungranny‍ .

Aggressive RP rules are being enforced too heavily. We can have an experience similar to LL without such heavy handedness of the enforcement of the rules affecting RP easily, so why wouldn't we do that? Too many grey areas make aggressive RP stressful, not knowing if something that was allowed one day, will be disallowed by a different member of staff.

Aggro RP needs heavy enforcement. If we let mob-type clans do a lot of what they try to get away with, we'd end up with A37 all over again (which was quite literally driving passiveRPers away from the server). It's bad enough for people who don't like to take matters into their own hands when someone starts extorting them with no background RP of surveillance and casing the joint, resulting in charging a sleepy business that provides a little bit of passive RP outside of the main street getting razed simply because of a high priced extortion rate which they can't afford.

Aggro RP has such a heavy effect on the passive RP community that it needs a tight leash otherwise it'll drive away others like me who enjoy passive.

In your eyes, making a single post to try and keep a thread ontopic is equivalent to banning people? A'ite mate.

Now, for incompetent, that means "useless".

Toxic means to be dangerous or poisonous. In here, generally referring to poisoning the community. Being negative about everything, rude, insulting w/e. Generally being a "dick".

You can be useless without being a dick. You can be a dick without being useless. You can be both. You can be neither.
That's why they're not related.

Your smug attitude to being told you are a problem just reassures me you do it intentionally and you are always aware how borderline you can get with the rules.

You are part of the problem. A big part of it.

See, ive been told before that I was the problem and the biggest reason why LL was failing in the past, and this was while I was staff, by Rocket, in an open forum. Many others have been called this to, and theyve come and gone, some have become members of staff  and went beyond what we ever thought they would do and do good things.

To this day, guess what, the problem still persists and i'm not there anymore for the most part, and neither are alot of the other "Main problems" so if I was the big bad wolf, and so we're all the other wolflings, why is LL still having these problems?

Its not one single person, or a group of people or even many various groups that is causing this problem.

In my opinion its alot of small to large decisions over a long period of time, that did not get thought out fully before implementation that caused issues the issues that we have now, that by time they get fixed people have left, and this continued over a long period of time.

The US server to me is an example of this kind of thing, its announcement just kind of came out of nowhere with little fanfare or buildup, seemingly little preparation to make people want to play it, and on a map that absolutely no one asked for, as the vote was for a completely different map set that was chosen.

When it finally came out, even though I had been wishing for a US server for years, I had zero interest in it because of its map, and the fact that few others had interest in it and no one ever went on it beyond 3 people, made me not even want to build RP zones for people to interact with.

Basicly, if you put a cloth in a pan and turn up the heat to medium, it doesnt look like anything is happening, and you dont notice anything wrong until it suddenly bursts into flames, but the entire time somthing was happening and it was slowly building up.

Thats my take on the situation.

If there are loopholes that are driving players away, surely it is up to those who have figured them out to be responsible and not abuse them to avoid punishments for what is basically against the rules except for that little technicality in the rules.

As an ex-teacher, you should know full well to set an example for other players and not try to loophole the rules, as rules cannot cover every situation. Whilst guidelines would be nice, let's be real here. If there's nothing to lose when you die, people aren't gonna follow FearRP, nor are they gonna treat the hostage properly, or anything like that.

If there are issues with the rules then HR need to fix them. When a gun in an FPS game is overpowered, you don't expect players not to use it, you expect the Devs to nerf it.
