If you posted here at 12:31am on the same day that he posted there at 07:59am, then he posted there before you posted here.  So he is saying that you didn't see that he'd already posted there before you said he should.

If you posted here at 12:31am on the same day that he posted there at 07:59am, then he posted there before you posted here.  So he is saying that you didn't see that he'd already posted there before you said he should.

12:31 AM is just after midnight. 7:59 AM is hours later. If it was 12:31 PM, it would be after.
