If people do actual criminal RP i.e not just shooting police in a house with nothing but fortifications and money printers etc. Then they can be arrested accordingly for their crime. For example, lets say somebody steals cars and takes them to a chop shop. If they get arrested for this they most likely won't receive the 30 minute sentence. I know it's possible as some (Vice)Presidents/Sergeants are keen on giving criminals the max sentence regardless of their crime but that is a different problem which we still experience with our current jail times. If, on the other hand, you sit in a base and just shoot at police with no effort in your roleplay, which is what most people seem to do, then you should expect the 30 minutes. Especially if you don't learn from the current jails. Right now it's evident that people will just shoot at the police or get them under gunpoint because they simply can. No planning goes into most of these things and the reason it happens so often is because there are no real consequences. If you're injured and get revived, you will keep your firearm and get 8 minutes in jail (as most people who do this are donators, I've noticed) Once you're out, there's nothing stopping you from doing it all again. If you do die then you lose your firearm but with the money you've made you can easily afford another. In my opinion, you should lose your firearms regardless of the handcuffing and spend more time in jail, especially if your crime includes mowing down a bunch of Police with your SCAR or whatever.

Simple fix, don't do the crimes you do if you don't want to sit in jail.

The suggestion that got approved added stuff to actually make JailRP, so it's not just sitting AFK.

Moved to Popular on the 17th of Oct (a month and a half later)
Moved to Staff Review a week later (24th of Oct).

If you can't vote in nearly two months, that's not our issue to resolve.

Well what stops the 10h players and the minges like me to make a 30min sentance to all warranted players? These days people get arrested for most minor reasons, and for in example, spitting on an officer you get max sentance, from murder, contraband shooting you getmax sentance. I see rarely people giving the correct sentances. But well for sure after this update comes, I will only play as a goverment, or if I don't, I will shoot all cops who come close to me and wants to arrest me. Well can I remind that this is a discussion and I want to hear your thinkings, not posts like "stop bitching about it". May I also remind you THAT THIS IS MY PERSONAL OPINION ONLY.

You do realize spamming max jail sentence is actually a sign to get staff to butt in right? Especially with 30 minutes, if he's spamming that for people jaywalking or evading police (which IMO would be like 10-15 max), then make an @ call.

Well arrests are taken IC, and until this day, no staff gives a flying fu#k about them to this day.

Like I said before. if this is the case, then why do donators get half the time?  Quite contradicting knowing that non-donators can do the same 'crime' as donators and get 30 min as oppose to just 15 min.  Where tf is the logic here? 

if your point is correct, then the staff should let everyone have equal sentence time.
