I can see the logic behind it with hormone medication and such, but unfortunately this is gonna cause a shitshow. Transgender people will feel marginalised and more Us vs Them attitudes will come out in the US (which will lead to more LGBT acceptance/pride events which will lead to more "I'm ok with gays just don't shove it in my face"), Trump will once again be criticised for being a bigot/hateful/chauvinist/puppet/etc., trans people could well stop feeling patriotic considering their country rejects them from serving - I'm just grateful there's no extremist terror group these people will be driven to as a result of the social fallout.

Oh, and I strongly disagree that trans people are "weaklings". Whether you treat transgenderism as a mental issue or not, these people have had an inner conflict and chosen an outlet to try and resolve that. I'm sure that, if they felt they could be accepted as a femme male/butch female they would, but for whatever reason they have endured surgery and possible social rejection simply to feel comfortable in their own skin. That takes some guts. And if their wish is to serve their country and jump through all the hoops to get there, then their motive is just the same as any cis person: to serve their effing country.

Trump golfing costs in his first 100 days cost taxpayers around 20 million, not sure how much that has risen by in the 3 months since this article.
But i suppose that is justified because donald trump is the greatest and shits out gold and its funny to bathe in dem leftist tears right?

When Presidents go on vacation, they don't just get free time off. They still have their whole entourage so they are always carrying out the duties of the POTUS. I trust you have better sources than obviously biased British news.

Compared to what Obama did, Donald Trump is not a bad president.

It costs the US between 2-8 million annually (approximately 0.0001% of the overall budget)  for such surgeries according to studies (https://edition.cnn.com/2017/07/26/polit...index.html). That's pennies for the US, put into perspective they reportedly spend 41.6 million on viagra.

Trump is full of shit as usual.

If you need extra medical rations, then you're a potential weakness..Same way that if you have Asthma you can't join - If on an operation and you loose access to your medication/hormones, what then?

What pisses me off is how blown out of proportion 'trans' is - it's like 0.01% of the population yet I see coverage on it multiple times a day..

HONESTLY WHO CARES, DO WHAT YOU WANT WITH YOUR BODY I DON'T GIVE A SHIT

Rule Britannia and that.

The vast majority of Erectile Dysfunction medication is given to older retired personnel. If you were to remove the veterans from this statistic, it would be drastically lower.

Donald Trump does it seems seeing as he singled them out and all. And according to this it's closer to 0.58% of Americans identity as transgender.

Ik thats probs true, but I still find it funny how the US Military has a budget for that sorta thing. Like, why would they even need the military to pay for that medication? Its not a crippling medical condition surely, shouldn't that money be going towards ensuring Vets who have serious medical complaints are in the green? Isn't that a bit insulting to all the soldiers who put their lives on the line for their country, only to have said country prioritise someone else's junk over their health?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think it was estimated in 2014 that like 40,000 vets are still homeless within the US. That number should be a 0. Idk what the current funds allocated for making sure vets are stable and such socially are at the moment, but they should definitely be wayyy ahead in priority than Erectile Dysfunction.

If a doctor prescribes viagra or cialis, and someone is covered by the military, they most likely are required to fill the prescription. It's not creating a budget for ED related medicine, it's acting as healthcare for veterans and active/reserve personnel.

I mean, I would rather put those millions towards a more important price to assist in the future work of active members instead of someone who can't do shit for months or even a year.

Seems silly to give Bob boobs instead of giving Bob beans.

So the "older retired personnel" is really in need of that? Can't they buy it for themselves?

Military provides healthcare for life. It's pretty good healthcare, its what I have right now.

To weigh in on this, it is fucking retarded. Healthcare is provided to all members of the military, and those trans "left wing liberal social-Marxist cuckold transfaggots" and getting medication and therapy. What difference is it to someone who is getting therapy for family issues, or getting medication for ED? To put the $2-8 million into perspective, it is 1/75000th of the current US military budget.

This is just an attempt to marginalize a group of people.

Marines aren't black, white, or red - they are all green. If they have the balls to serve our country, I don't care if they don't like havin' em.

Also, why wouldn't they do PT?

They would be on medical profile, as stated before by Sourlemon, and prohibited from doing PT, deploying, etc.

I mean if these few million dollars is such a big deal Why dont he just remove the free surgery and pills stuff? Why does he ban transgendered. He could've easily solved it by removing the free healthcare they use for their needs. Dont agree with this ban at all.

Remove free surgery and medicine for people covered by military benefits? That wouldn't work. He banned transgenders since a lot of them were cheating the system into free surgery. No president would fix the issue by removing healthcare benefits for more than those who are cheating the system.
