Just to be clear. If there is even the SLIGHTEST chance of this future custom map to be added it has to be pitch PERFECT.

NO bugs, NO glitches, NO errors.
NO inconsistencies
100% FPS optimized
100% Player and RP optimized.

It has to be perfect for it to even be concidered.

Because these maps have the popularity to back them up - Good luck trying to get people to download a 200mb map file that's mandatory to play on the server if that map isn't the dog's bollocks.

The thing is though, pretty much every map in garry's mod is not bug free. You can attempt to make is highly optimized but it won't be 100%. No bugs/errors? Well in pretty much every first version of a roleplay map has at least a bug/glitch. If Limelight was to get its first map there are chanced there will be a bug because you can not spot every little mistake something.

Acceptable but still, why was Rockford was added? While it is better optimized than v33x it still could do much better, and it also lacks RP AND it has bugs too. (Simply because it was beautiful)

v2d was the best map in my eyes that the CityRP scene ever had for FPS.
The old school players also loved it, yes 33x is decent but FPS is out the roof!!
I would have loved to see v2d back as one of the servers for the community although the majority didn't want it :/ I really don't see any harm in making a 2-3 week trial run of v2d, just to see how it goes since it is such a classic!

True that v2d is a very known map and good for fps but that is because it was better optimized than v33x. v2d is old and the textures used for it are awful! I am currently editing v33x and making it slightly better and Project is helping. If anything I would love to edit v2d and add a couple of things.

So for about two hours I have been going around v33x in Hammer and having a look at things that could be added/changed/fixed.

So after about 50 minutes of compiling the map I finally got it in game! There are a few bugs with lighting and reflections but they can be sorted!

These are a few screenshots of the areas I changed.

I like your idea and it looks great so far but 33x is horrible for FPS it is horribly optimised, v2d on the other hand is good for FPS and if the correct changes are made it can become a brilliant map for l2 again.

I wouldn't say v2d is better optimized. It's just a very basic map so the fps is higher than v33x which is more advanced by having more props/reflection maps/day & night etc.
It's like saying GTA San Andreas is better optimized than GTA V because you can get a higher frame rate.

What are the changes? I still see bugs and etc like roads glitching


Changes:

-Removed Painting At Nexus
-Removed Desk At Nexus
-Removed Both Elevator Doors
-Removed Rock At Rebel Spawn
-Added Interior In Building Next To Izzy's Palace
-Added Extra Doors At Nexus
-Added More Room At Grassy Fields
-Changed Roads - All Same As City
-Added Parking At Café Next To Appartments
