Allow the president to have up to 40% tax rate.

In detail, explain your suggestion:
The president could raise taxes up to 40%

Why should this be implemented?
Well first of all, the president job isn't very desirable, this would help. Secondly, it's realistic... In America you can get taxed up to 38% of your income, so why not make it like that on the server.

While this could indeed add more realism, you have to think about how small the paychecks really are.

A Non-Donator citizen's paycheck is $50 every payday.

40% of 50 is 20.

$20 every payday.

That's... thats shitty, in this bloated economy. Really shitty. It will also make people hate the president more for taking even more of their cash.

I will only support a potential tax raise IF and only IF the taxes do not go to the president and instead go to a proper government bank used to supply the gov with their vehicles, equipment etc.

There are some presidents which actively change the taxes depending on the things happening in evocity and the state of the government. Some, but not anywhere near enough. Most will just taxwhore at 40% permanently, and with the current rules there is no drawback for doing so.

20% tax for the first 30 minutes of presidency, then the ability to raise it to 40% afterwards. There should be a rule in place meaning that a president can only raise above 20% if there's an ACTUAL roleplay reason behind it, such as funding an RP hospital.

Any anyway, any tax whoring president can be dethroned if they do not listen to the peaceful protests.

Really the whole government system needs to be redone in terms of taxation, government equipment, blah blah. I think taxes should equal more govt. equipment and better cars. I do also like the idea of being able to choose whether or not to pay taxes, that'd be cool.

I'd say a tax evasion system should be implemented, but can only be done as citizen/custom job.
