Thanks all. Pre-OP has now been scheduled for January 5th. From there, who knows. Depending on what they find they could do the surgery that day, or a few weeks from now. So, good to have a date to start with. Now comes all the scheduling and planning.

The little guy is showing signs, shortness of breath, not sleeping well, throwing up, cold and yet hot to the touch. So, it is evident that he will need help soon.

I know that you can stay strong about this, I understand how difficult it is to lose a family member, I've experienced too, and I've been in the ER Room before, If you get to feel sad don't lock it up, Talk it out with a friend, another family member, and I hope everything goes out well

Thank you. He is struggling right now, shortness of breath, color starting to turn purple... But he hasn't changed his attitude. So stubborn, he has to do everything himself. He's two and is nearly giving himself baths now. Our two five year olds don't even do that.

I appreciate all the support, the Merry Christmases and all.

The kids had fun, Santa arrived overnight. They were disappointed that we didn't drive to the grandparents like we had planned, but understood.

My wife and I though were very down. Just so much worry, what ifs and planning for the worse. Every open heart surgeries done increases the risk that they can't restart the heart. This will be his third. Our time in the hospital, we watched as five babies died, watched their parents suffer thru that... The waiting room is filled with so much highs and lows... My friend and coworker had twins, one who had serious issues that led to over a year of hospitalization before she died from suffocation and stress. It's just... a lot to process, to have to go back there again.

I just want to get this over with. Yet have to wait, and wait again.
