While we now have Electric Cars, the system is too similar to gas for me to be happy (First World Problems, I know).

I feel it should be distinct, to offer a noticeable advantage and disadvantage.

(Also, they should basically just not use battery while "idling" because its only powering a few low power things, and not a motor.)
