Marsh, I don't know why you're suggesting a Cadillac as a patrol vehicle. That are far too high class for a city to use them as a patrol vehicle. My cities department uses all Tahoes at the moment, replacing the Crown Vic they had a couple years ago.
I have been to around 40/50 states and I have not seen a Cadillac as a patrol cruiser.

Its a bit to high class and the Tahoe is more realistic however ive seen a few Versions of the Escalade and in Gmod the modell it self looks simply better. Of course a Tahoe wouldbe more realistic but the Escalade could still be a nice Security Car or something. Also its an Amazing Car for the Civilian Market.

I took a few screenshot of other Crwon Vic Versions I know. The Cars listed are a 1998 Crown Vic (sgm car modell), a 2007 Crown Vic (sgm cars) and a tdm crown vic

The SMG cars are not that highly customisable but they do look quite good. I kinda prefer the 2007 Version because of its better view. If you look closely you can see a the end of the hood which makes it easier to (Pit) maneuver in first person. Also The Police Computer looks a bit better. However the Wodden Interior on the 1998 version looks good as well.
I actually "had" the 1998 version on FL once. I Installed the mod and by accident it would change the Car clientsided. That was actually dam enjoyable but it wouldnt work on v33 and v2d for some reason (made the cars invisible). However this could be a sign that it might work and with the SGM It will just be the improved Interior while the body itself stays the same.

TDM Version:

From The Outside they all look the same. However the TDM modell got a small Bonus:

It can also be equipped with a lot of diffrent vehicle components like:
6 Different Bumpers
7 Different Lightbars (from NYPD to LAPD to sveral other modern versions)
4 Diffrent Rear Lightbars and a whole lot of other options like a customisable Prisoner Caging for the Backseat, Mirror LEDs misc Poliece utilities etc.
As you can see i kinda fell in love with the TDM version although i realise that exscpecially the lightbars migh not going to be included or take a lot of time to fix. However the car looks great and has a lot of customisability. However at the same time it would be nice if the entire derpartment would not use completly different cars (like different toplights/strange wheel mods etc.) However since the customisation is requires and mod/admin rank this should not be a problem.

By the Way -  A few people kept talking about a tdm tahoe modell. But all i can find is the version made by lownwolfie. Anyone got a tip how to find it or a picture of the tdm version of the tahoe. I would wonder how a pristine version of a fancy police tahoe would look like.

I bet they will. Imagine the Police car update.... . I just hope it wont take too long. I mean its more then understandable that it takes some time exspecially with new emergency cars who need advanced lighting, some hnadling configurations and all the other things i cant imagine but im slightly afraid of LimeLight loosing some tention. The over all server population has decreased a bit. I just hope it will rise and stabilize. Rp is interesting but not as tense with somewhat around 30 poeple on avarage. I hope new updates will bring a few more people and a more stabil population.
However its understandable it will take some time and im really excited about all those fancy things who might be upcomming: - checking the updates page every day
