Why should you be unbanned?:

I was pretty much doing bog standard penetration testing. Logs from the webserver will show basic queries for sql and xss. Alongside with the disclosure of exploits (which hopefully have since been patched) I'd rather come across as a benefit to LL as opposed to something detrimental.

So, your method of trying to help is to hack our site?

I don't see why you should be unbanned. If you had cocnerns, you could have PMed anyone on the server development team instead of taking actions into your own hands.

Considering I was partially involved, we had been contacting numerous admins aswell as some of the devs to try and communicate to problems we found.

Not to mention, wasn't someone just unbanned for doing similar?
