Angelo "Gino" Bruno, nicknamed "The Gentle Don", was appointed by the Commission to run the EvoCity family. Bruno, the first boss of EvoCity with a seat at the Commission, gained much respect in the underworld and was soon seen as the most powerful Mafia boss outside the New York and Chicago area. He expanded the family's profit and operations in lucrative EvoCity, which had now become known as the EvoCity family's turf. Bruno himself avoided the intense media and law enforcement scrutiny and outbursts of violence that plagued other crime families, and avoided lengthy prison terms, despite several arrests. His longest prison term was two years for refusing to testify to a grand jury. Bruno preferred more traditional operations, including labor racketeering, illegal gambling, extortion, bookmaking, and loansharking. During the early 1960s, the EvoCity family was officially recognized as the Bruno family.

Why do you want to join the Bruno Family: Why do you want to join:[/b] I was born in San Martino, Sicily. A few years later my father decided that we should move to America where we can start a new life. While in school, I met a boy named Franky Gazebo, who had a gang. We quickly became close friends and always looked out for each other. We attempted to rob a store however a police officer caught us. They gave me the option of staying in jail or serving in the U.S. Army. Deciding that I didn't want to serve a sentence in jail, I chose the army. After the liberation I was shot in battle. After spending a few months in the infirmary, I was sent home on leave from the war for a month. Upon arrival, I sees Franky for the first time since the failed robbery. Franky managed to get me some forged discharge papers, from a friend. With these papers, I did not have to return to war. The war ended a few months later. Then I've worked for a few years at the Evocity Police Department. But then I thought there must be an easier way to do "business".
What do you hope to gain from joining the Bruno Family:
1. A code of silence - Never to "rat out" any mafia member.  Never to divulge any mafia secrets.  Even if they were threatened by torture or death.
2. Complete obedience to the boss - Obey the boss's orders, no matter what.
3. Assistance - To provide any necessary assistance to any other respected or befriended mafia faction.
4. Vengeance - Any attacks on family members must be avenged. "An attack on one is an attack on all."

Journal Entry 1-31-16: I, Angelo "Gino" Bruno, have returned to the state of Limelight. During my travels away from the state of LL, my family's prescence in both Rockford and EvoCity had diminished and the influence my family once had in these cities, was now almost zero-to-none. I have returned to gain back what my family once had in terms of power and influence on these streets. During my travels, I've done everything from crack-cocaine to straight up heroin and boy has it enlightened me. These cities are corrupt, and they always will be, there's no denying.... Nor is there a way to fix the corruption that is embedded inside the interiors of the city government in that we all live under. I ask of those that deem themselves worthy and willing to join my family, our family, The Bruno Family, as we restore the glory and power that our family once had.

Journal Entry 2-14-16: The Bruno Family has made some enemies over the past few months. To be more specific, the scumbag group that call themselves the 3K Triads or some shit, as they seem to be quite foolish and act like a bunch of monkeys to be honest. And the group of that new workers Union, Ruskov Unon or something. These fellas are a rowdy bunch but a still stupid one that is always in the eyes of the government forces. One of my men was shot by a stay bullet the other day when the fools of Ruskov Union decided they would try to rob a SWAT van. Robbing a SEAT van??!!? Who would be stupid enough to think that would be possible? Only the fools over at Ruskov Union.
