Explain your suggestion, in detail:

Content Overhaul

There's a lot of props that are currently in the LL content but aren't able to be seen by many of the players, due to them not being in the content / downloads categories. This mainly happens with map content, such as Florida. The content from that map is on LL and the items are able to be spawned on the server, but only those who have the map downloaded can see it (which, as I touched on earlier - is something not advertised as being in our content / downloads category). The only way I found about this content is through a friend who found out about via a thread on the forums. Myself and others have wanted to use these props, but have feared using them in case people can't see them. Weirdly, some of the GTA props that are on the server are only able to seen by a few people too.

It has also been hinted by staff that certain content has been 'forgotten about' and that an overhaul is coming anyway. As I'm suggesting such a thing, of course I'm on board with it - but it's a bit frustrating not knowing what props we can and can't use out of fear that they might be getting removed anyway.

I don't know specific details about numbers, but from what my PC loading times tell me from before downloading any of the content for LL, we have a LOT of content. I know this is already on the team's mind, but I'm just suggesting that this become more of a priority. I think a big part of growing LL would be to cut down on the content we have and really prioritize what we need and don't need, so that we can get new people on the server quicker and so that builders can have peace of mind of what we can and can't use.

Maybe it would be worth asking the community what content they actually use and want via a survey? If I were being selfish and pushing my own agenda, I'd say honestly just put all the GTA V content onto LL and of course ban the props that are inappropriate, keep the facade props and the scene builder props (which I suggested here: https://limelightgaming.net/forums/thread-29020.html) and call it a day for the building part. Some of the props we have at the moment just don't fit into CityRP's aesthetic in my opinion, the Witcher props for instance, are huge in size - yet are quite niche in their usability.

As for map content, that can be used too - as long as you make a commitment to keeping that in your overall content and not having people fear whether or not it will later be yeeted from the server. I think that's the biggest issue at the moment, you have a lot of content - but no commitment to what is and isn't being kept. If we were to do a content overhaul it would be good to really think about what is being kept and WHY, putting a stance on what is permanent or not - so that the community know whether they can confidently use it or not.

As for other other content, such as player models, vehicles, etc - I am not as read up on that, but I am sure the community is very opinionated on what they want (as well as the team). I do think having models like the Michael Myers one are questionable though ahaha, yet we have basically 1 good market option for women.

I know this is a bit of a long suggestion but it's just one I am passionate about and think should be a priority for LL, at the moment the content just feels like a bunch of old legacy content with new stuff piled on top of it and I think it deserves a fresh lick of paint. Thank you to those that managed to get through it all!

I would really like to know if certain props are "safe" to build with, or if they're getting removed. It's pretty confusing.
