Hello Limelight Community,

Apologies for being silent for most of the past couple of months but we have been working on a re-structure of the team that we think will benefit both the community and the staff team. Our previous structure inadvertently forced people into dealing with some tasks that they either might not know much about, or not allow them focus on what they care about the most. Basically, the former structure was everyone having to do a bit of everything. This brings a lack of focus in some areas and we believe rectifying that will allow team members to show more focus and dedication towards parts of the community they know best, or are interested in.

So this all begs the question: "What will happen now?"

We have decided that team members should be able to focus on the individual elements of the community they are best at and most interested in, and as a result, we changed up the internal structure.

Our new structure introduces the "Core Team", which, as the name entails, are team members who are interested in and are now responsible for every aspect of the community, rather than just a specific part of the community. The remainder of the team is split up by platform. For example, members of the core team are responsible for strategic level decisions and community level oversight, while members of the CityRP team are only responsible for CityRP, and TTT Team Members are only responsible for TTT moderation. Forum and Discord moderators are now responsible for those respective platforms.

This will allow us to shape our service moderation accordingly across all platforms. As we stated before, not everyone is interested in certain areas and these changes allow us to see who is interested in which task and it makes sure that each platform under the Limelight Brand gets the attention it needs without potentially hindering other areas of service.

Warm regards,
The Limelight Staff Team

We've implemented a tab system with the genius of @Doctor Internet‍ to combat that issue, we've updated the links on our navbars and you can also visit the new Team Page via https://limelightgaming.net/services/team/

This might come out a bit passive-aggressive but why even try if you aren't gonna perform radical decisions. This isn't gonna take Limelight anywhere. There need to be large changes to the team to get this community going again. Get rid of all those who are inactive, no matter how "good" staff they might have been. If they aren't actively providing something to the community, replace them with people who have the ambition to make something out of this community. It doesn't matter if you replace them with people who haven't played here before. You just need to realize that the old Limelight is over. Get going to rebuilding "a new community" with the resources you have.

There needs to radical decisions made, and those need to be made right now. This community is just getting closer and closer to its final end. There is a huge potential but right now it's just being wasted.
