I take a pretty libertarian standpoint on gay marriage; if two adults from either sex want to be with each other and that's what makes them happy then the government has no right to deny it.

In the US state marriage is based on law which is why you're required to obtain a marriage license but don't need a religion's blessing.

If it really bothers you to a point you have to be vocal about it, stop being a cunt.
