Explain your suggestion, in detail:
Remove map specific vehicle skins, such as the Rockford Police.

Explain why the suggestion should be implemented:
Decoupling the map from the vehicles.
Even when it makes sense for other uses (Rockford can be a license plate issuing city for Evo), generally city police remain in their own city.

That's the one I can think of off the top of my head, if there's more there's more.
The Marion County was designed to decouple our emergency vehicle liveries from the map.

I’d say add more map specific liveries eg ECPD to replace Rockford

I've always supported more generic skins, leaving specific locations out and just focusing on Police/Sheriff/State Police, which was the purpose of SirWulf's skins. I was a little disappointed at the inclusion of the 4 Rockford skins.


Could we have a contest for this? Post the templates and let players design their own skins then hold a vote on the best looks?

This rather than anything. It would allow for a more ''neutral'' and customizable department rather than being forced to roleplay as department-X.

(Although, I do miss the ECPD supervisor skin on the Tahoe... Oh man...)

@Storm my plan was paying for a guy to do them, in a similar style to what we already have, cos he does really good skins.

The other one would probably be the Highway Patrol skin which is basically the Rockford skin but with the yellow arse stripes
