I don't see https on any site, even those that I know have it. Usually it has a green padlock but now it is a grey padlock. Is it safe when it isn't there?

The SSL certificates are valid, not sure what's happening though. I doubt there's majors issues but I'll give Burnett a message on Discord for you

It's not just limelight. I don't see it for any site.

The site is secure.
Your signature is linked via http, not https. Mixed content (some over http, some over https) don't show the padlock.
This doesn't mean it's insecure (red padlock).

I've changed your signature over to use HTTPS, so it shouldn't be an issue for you specifically, unless others use HTTP.

It still shows a grey padlock. I just wanted to make sure that I am safe if it isn't green, and from what Doctor Internet said before it sounds like it shouldn't be an issue.

Weird.

Might be a chrome update causing it too.
