Suggestion:
Add a method to purchase <temporary> prop-increases in bundles and available through the Marketplace.

Category: Player Perks & Bonuses
In this category, you can access a number of bundles that will boost your prop-count for (1) server session and will expire upon server restart/crash and be non-refundable.

You can use (1) of these prop-increases per session to prevent repeated stacking of perks:
It is also important to come to a non-biased value that a player would be willing to pay on a per-prop basis and taking into account the different uses a prop may have (PassiveRP, AggressiveRP) and the value that I have come to would be around $1,000 - $1,500 per prop // though I think that this should increase with the larger bundles seeing as they tend to have more revenue-generating uses or give the player an advantage (e.g. AggressiveRP builds)

[1,000PP > 1,250PP > 1,500PP > 2,000PP] PP referring to the cost per prop

  • +10 Props ($10,000)
  • +25 Props ($31,250)
  • +50 Props ($75,000)
  • +100 Props ($200,000)

Reason:
Much needed cash-sink, allows an alternative to achieving prop-increases from staff or through REP/Donator but it comes at a large premium and as such doesn't remove the incentive of achieving the bonuses through pre-existing methods

This would have to come with a blanked ban of allowing prop increases unless it’s for an event. Prop increases are a huge cheat as everyone has to work for those REPs and with this they will also be spending their money.

Neutral (Leaning towards +support)

The only reason I am neutral on this suggestion is because props can be earned through REP's and buying Membership.

I think the incentive is still there to achieve these perks through REP, but I disagree that it should be banned on the notion that REP should be the only way.

I’m against REP locks in general due to REP being difficult to attain in general and also because it is difficult for players to earn REP for repeated role plays, AggressiveRP and most notably RP’s that go unnoticed whether intentional or not.

I believe some perks, such as the prop bonus, should be accessible but behind a paywall to maintain the incentive to earn REP to get permanent perks that don’t cost IG money.

It takes time and effort to make money IG, don’t see why we can’t value that. Additionally, there are millions of in-game dollars that need to find a way to be spent. There are tons of ways to make money but fairly few ways to spend it besides pockets and stockpiling items. Seeing as this is a build-oriented RP server, it only makes sense that this should be a feature

Yes, so if you have membership and/or REPs you pay less.

Sounds fair enough to me. I don't see any negatives tbh. Maybe I'm blind. Maybe I'm not.

I don't like the idea of locking propraises behind a paywall. I think if someone wants to host a well organised RP and needs more props, they should be able to get a propraise for free if they lack the REPs. This system just feels kinda greedy.

I also think it's unfair if it expires on server crash, maybe have it last an x amount of hours?

Having this system would be great, but would also remove the ability for staff to increase prop limits for people who want to do large-scale RP builds, simply because "if you don't have the money, build a smaller dupe". This is similar to how staff or teachers will not set your model if it can be purchased in the marketplace, or requires membership that you don't have. If you don't have the money or REPs to increase the prop limit, you can't get a prop extension. I would imagine (some) staff see no issue with extending prop limits because there's only one expected way to get more props, and that's to gain REPs (nobody expects you to donate, avoid pay-to-win). If this was implemented, you're sorta adding a more in-character factor into prop limits: "more money = more budget = bigger builds". That's nice and all, but what about those people who rely on staff-given prop extensions to carry out events for the server, or, like previously mentioned, large-scale RP builds.

You realize there is a staff ability to set propcount in cases like that? You can’t or “shouldn’t” be able to get staff prop praises for certain things imo - such as AggressiveRP builds that would give you an advantage.

Server session or 24 hours, whichever is possible.

Ah, if propraises are still available for quality passiveRP dupes and it lasts x hours instead then +support.
