Idea: Add an option to toggle the gray tinge on the new HUD

Why?: Personally, it's giving me eye-strain. Otherwise, I feel like it gives a rather dark mood to the server currently and it might be nice to either be able to go for a lighter version, or straight up turn it off clientside.

I like it personally but having an option to toggle the Vignette effect would be really good for those who dont like it

The vignette was created primarily to increase the legibility of elements so that they wouldn't blend with the environment. For most first person (and even third person) games it's fairly common practice and was one of those things I had completely forgotten about when designing the previous LL HUD. While I'd oppose I'm sure it would be straightforward enough to create a /command that would remove it.

It would simply need to set .overlay { background: none; }

Aye we'll add a toggle for it, probably /tint or something. It'll still be on by default as it's supposed to go with the rest of the design, but if people want to disable it they can. Same for HUD information - we'll add a toggle to add extra info to the HUD (exact stats).

Done as of rev 9129.

Please use /hud tint to toggle background tint.
/hud toggle and /hud both toggle the entire HUD as before.
