Politics is a sensitive topic, but I thought it would be interesting to get an insight into peoples' minds.
So, which party do you support?

I have been brought up to be a Conservative supporter. I support the values of capitalism as I believe that socialism does not work. I am strongly against the idea of giving people things for free, as I think people should earn their way to the top, rather than taking from other people. Margaret Thatcher is my idle, to which I agree that people from all economic backgrounds should pay the same amount of tax, because if they've earned that money and worked hard for it, why should they be forced to give it to someone who hasn't worked hard? If people want to donate to charity or pay extra tax then it should be a choice, not an expectation.

Right now I am losing faith in the Conservative government and believe that Thatcher would be disappointed in the party; which is why I am now swaying somewhat towards UKIP due to its ideologies on British identity. I also agree with the #BanTheBurqa movement as it is not an religious requirement and poses a security risk as they cannot be identified. Sure, women have the choice to wear what they want, but security should always be more important than feelings.

“Do you know that one of the great problems of our age is that we are governed by people who care more about feelings than they do about thoughts and ideas.” ― Margaret Thatcher

Conservative: Centre-right
A party loosely divided into three categories: The Thatcherites or Conservative Way Forward, who strongly support a free market and tend to be Eurosceptic; the economically moderate, often more pro-European and socially liberal One Nation Conservatives, and the socially conservative, deeply Eurosceptic Cornerstone Group.

Labour: Centre-left
A big tent party, broadly centre-left with roots in the trade union movement.

UKIP: Right-wing
Eurosceptic and right-wing populist party. Favours national sovereignty, direct democracy, social conservatism and economic liberalism.

SNP: Centre-left
Scottish nationalist and social democratic party which supports of Scottish Independence and membership of the European Union.

DUP: Right-wing
Unionist and national conservative party in Northern Ireland. Socially conservative with close links to Protestantism.

Lib Dems: Centre
Liberal and social liberal. The party's main two branches are the social-liberal grouping, and the 'Orange Book' grouping, which supports classical economic liberalism. Strongly supports membership of the European Union.

Green Party: Left-wing
Green political party that favours eco-socialism, environmentalism, sustainability and non-violence.

Don't care, they're all dirt.

Should add a "too sensible to give a shit" option.

Would be good if you would've added things like "conservative" and "right-wing, nationalistic" instead of British party names into the poll. Most people can't vote on it as they don't know any of those.

Since polls can't be edited I'll just edit the post to help people with it 😄

Political parties aren't in the best interest of their people.  When in power, they push the agenda of their party, not the people.  The political game is one of control and power.  Problem is, no one in politics has enough sense to realize that this planet won't live forever.  Instead they'd rather squabble for Earth's limited resources.

Fun fact, it rains Diamonds on Jupiter.  We know this, but yet we stopped going to the moon forever ago.  If we would have chosen space and some unity, we might not be limited to our slowly increasing decline. People use politics to deny things that inconvenience them.  Like that island of trash in the pacific that is the size of texas.  To the euros, that island of trash is bigger than some of your countries.

But instead of worrying about our rapidly dying sea life, the ice caps not refreezing, people starving to death, we worry about what some dude who "runs" a country believes is true.  They say that everything is fine and runs in a cycle.  They say its okay to kill others in the name of your country.  They also say that your opinion matters (votes) but have corrupted that system multiple times worldwide.

Fuck politics.
DISCLAIMER:  I AM NOT LIMELIGHT STAFF.  I DO NOT MAKE POLICY.  I AM JUST A PLAYER.  This is needed because I'm tired of people thinking that I think I'm staff when I have no misconception that I am player.
