It's hardly an IC issue. If someone loses their job in real life, they don't go back to the same company at a different role.. so why should it be the same here? Regardless of if it's allowed or not.

Say we have this example company, I am an employee, you are my manager, Steve is the CEO. If you fire me, Steve should be free to give me a job back should he so desire, shouldn't me?

Yes he should be, but the way the gamemode works is that you have to wait a certain amount of time before rejoining that job, and any other affiliated jobs, so to join an affiliated job comes under powergaming and FailRP. Hence why it shouldn't be an IC issue.

Keep it simple and if you get fired as a cop, SWAT, etc. you can’t become part of the PD for a set time. Same goes for FD, EMS, and Executive.

No need to overcomplicate things. Some things just belong under a rule.
